Definitley going to be a thrill to each this year. I'm more of an East fan but this year I'm definitley looking forward to seeing the West play.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Hunter:</div><div class="quote_post">I see five dominant teams in the west: Lakers, Kings, Timberwolves, Mavericks, and Spurs.</div>I don't know, I don't see the Mavericks as a dominant team in the West anymore. Afterall, Memphis is ahead of them. They play no defense whatsoever and rely too much on this offense which we have seen have many lapses over the coarse of this season. I'm predicting an early exit out of the playoffs this year for them.

Next year Mavs will be lucky to make the playoffs. Quote me on that. The Warriors/Blazers will be in it next year... Maybe not the Warriors (in a couple of years so J-Rich can improve), but the Blazers def.

T-Wolves play to their potential and take the #1 Seed. The Kings faulter a little and fall to the #2. And they meet up in the Western Conference Finals. How many games have gone to Overtime with these two? 7 game series with 4 going to OT. That would be delicious.</div>

Then the winner beat the East champ in 4-6 games. Talk about an anti-climax.

Dallas won't beat them. They play no defense and they rely on the jump shot far too often. Sacramento at least attempts to establish the inside game with Divac, Miller, and Webber. Not too mention they run the fast break as good as anyone and they have great outside shooters. Dallas would stand no chance.

The whole western confrence playoffs all together might be the best ever. I can't remember so many good teams being in one side.. Memphis, San Antonio, L.A., Sacramento, Dallas, Yao's Houston... all are powerhouses in this league.

I don't consider Dallas or Houston powerhouses really. Dallas can't play defense and Houston can't score points. Plus, both are far too inconsistent and have bad road records. And, if you are a low seed in the West and you can't win on the road, you're in big trouble.

I dont think the kings have the heart to win the championship this season. They arent 100% health wise. And Iam not forsure they can dig deep to find away to over come them. That blow out loss to the Lakers a few weeks ago started the end of their season. And the Timberwolves might have finished them off last week. I think those teams took their pride.

If the Kings lose to the Lakers today. And drop to 4th spot while limping into the Playoffs. I can see the Grizzlies beating them in the 1st round.
