    Cleaves, who shot 26 percent in his last season with Sacramento, is shooting 30 percent from the field with the Cavs. His shot has been so bad, coach Paul Silas said recently that he could not understand why no one has worked with Cleaves.

    "I shot the ball good during my junior and senior year of high school, then I got hurt," Cleaves said. "I struggled during my first year at Michigan State and then I shot well my sophomore year. I think it was a matter of always playing hurt and compensating and getting out of whack."

    Cleaves said now it's just a matter of focusing on one form and sticking with it.

    "[The shot] is coming along good," Cleaves said. "I like the change. I know by next year, I'll be a totally different shooter."

    This is not the first time Silas has improved someone's shot. Center Ruben Boumtje Boumtje's jump shot was ridiculous until Silas made a correction. After Boumtje Boumtje put in the time, his shot made a dramatic improvement.</div>

    Glad to see he is working hard it seems, but then again, all NBA players should be hard workers.

    This kinda sucks. I though Wagner was going to sit out because his knee is bothering him again. I guess Silas didn't want Mateen to share any of KO's minutes. Mateen gave us some solid minutes at point.

    I still dont mind having Ollie as a backup. He isn't as bad as some of you guys say. Its the contract that is the worst part of his game. Blame Paxson. Letting Cleaves walk isn't a bad thing. He isn't NBA standard just yet. Hopefully with this hard work he is doing, we can get him in this summer and take a better look. Until then, I wont overly miss him.

    Mateen Cleaves falls under the "great players in college but horrible in the NBA". I mean when this guy was in college everyone thought he was going to be great.
