Ok, I know this will be a random topic and quite probably someone already has done it in the past, but since I don't see anything, I'm going to ask the following: I'm going to ask about the best intangibles, BY POSITION. (effectively removing any player-specific homerism from the fold) When in doubt about what a player's official position is, please reference what his team or the NBA has him listed as (that should also remove debate about who plays where and where they should be playing) Please insert which player in each position specific category you feel fits best(in other words, the player that best fits that each individual category, not one player that best embodies all of them): <u>PG:</u> 1. I just said Paul because I love his ability to get to the basket, and I know he has nice touch. And yes, Kevin is KONG's main man for televising Seattle games. I have a feeling we'll get a lot of responses in this thread.

Bill Walton and Steve something (Javie I think, but thats a ref) did NBC for awhile and I thought they were very entertaining.

However, I think it's a necessary evil. Without that CBA clause intact, there'd likely be an extreme increase in the number of HSer's jumping stright to the NBA and with that likely comes an increase in the number of players who are out of the league by the time thier rookie contracts are up. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Bill Walton and Steve something (Javie I think, but thats a ref) </div> Like Bill as a person and player. can't stand him as an announcer though. Paul Pierce was the only player who showed up for the Olympics IMO. He took a lot of shots because everyone else was passing up open looks and overpassing to try and get highlight footage. I've admired Pierce for a lot of years and he showed a lot of courage after coming back from a near death experience. He's a clutch player and great at getting to the free throw line, a lot art in today's NBA. I still wear the TMAC 1's for outdoor hoops. I have 4 pairs of them to date and I'm looking for more. It's a clean look and very comfortable and durable. I'm not a fan of Adidas Bball shoes either, but they did a great job with these and also the Kobe's (indoor use).

I think the "Steve" you are referring to is Steve "Snapper" Jones. He used to broadcast games for NBC. He's now with the Portland Blazers broadcasting team. Courtvision how can you choose him as a Laker fan, the guy is the biggest Laker hater out there?
