What about Greg Ostertag? I know he is old but he had one hell of a season leading this young team in the playoff hunt.

No way. Jerry Sloan put him in the doghouse for a reason.

If Foyle can play like he played tonight, let's re-sign foyle. He's a big part of the bay area community anyway so he should stay.

He has a player option, which means he can stay with the Warriors with his current deal, or opt out and test he free agent market. I read a lot of reports he might just stay with his current deal because he's not going to make more if he becomes a free agent. The teams with cap space aren't likely to use it on Dampier, those teams include...

    Jazz - $30M
    Bobcats - $23M
    Nuggets - $13-$21M
    Clippers - $11.8M
    Spurs - $11.3M
    Suns - $6.5M

The Jazz, does Dampier really want to play in Utah, he loves the night life the Bay has to offer, I doubt he likes the conservative nature of the State of Utah.

The Bobcats, they want to spend their money on young players or players with expiring contracts. A long term deal for Dampier isn't likely.

The Nuggets, they would like to bring Camby back, but if he signs on somewhere else, Dampier would likely be a target for the Nuggets.

The Clippers, they will try to bring back Q or go after Kobe Bryant. They have a lot of depth in the front-court, but their backcourt is in desperate need of a playmaker.

The Spurs will need their space to re-sign Gino so count them out.

The Suns, their first priority will be Kobe Bryant, then they need to decide whether to bring back Keon Clark and Dice. Dampier won't be a priority for them.

The other scenario would be a sign and trade. Jerry West would love to get his hands on Dampier, and the Grizzlies have a lot players with value. But I would think if a deal between these two teams was going to happen it would have went down this year.

I say that we try to stick with Foyle and see what happens, because he's shown that he can be very good at times (yesterday's game against the Wolves? wow I've seen flashes before, but never that good. Remember when he went coast-to-coast for the and1 layup? [IMG] )
