There has been a lot of turmoil for some of the more elite players in the NBA this season. Whether it's free agency or team shakeups what do you predict the following players will do? Stay or Leave Kobe Bryant Paul Pierce Tracy McGrady Allen Iverson Chris Webber Tyson Chandler Eddy Curry Vince Carter Steve Nash Antoine Walker Rasheed Wallace Kenyon Martin Memet Okur Jamal Crawford Emanuel Ginobili Erick Dampier Quentin Richardson Michael Finley
Kobe Bryant - Leave Paul Pierce - Stay Tracy McGrady - Stay Allen Iverson - Leave (traded) Chris Webber - Stay Tyson Chandler - Stay Eddy Curry - Stay Vince Carter - Stay Steve Nash - Leave (to another contender) Antoine Walker - Leave Rasheed Wallace - Leave Kenyon Martin - Stay Memet Okur - Stay Jamal Crawford - Leave Emanuel Ginobili - Stay Erick Dampier - Leave Quentin Richardson - Stay Michael Finley - Stay (should leave)

I don't know why Paul Pierce is on that list, he's not going anywhere!!! Big names are probably Kobe and Allen Iverson, they're rumored to be possibly leaving and they will headline the offseason. I see both of them leaving, but I think it'll be interesting to see whether Kobe signs somewhere else or does a sign and trade so LA gets something in return. It's going to be one helluva offseason with all the names flying around, I personally think Denver has the most potential to improve next season though. Think about it, Denver has nearly 20 million to spend on free agents. They really only need another bigman to go along with Nene and than perhaps a shooting guard to be that second scoring option for Carmelo. Think of the possible duos they could bring in. Kenyon Martin and Crawford. Q-Rich and Dampier. Okur and Kobe. The possibilities are endless...

I don't know why so many of you think Rasheed Wallace is going to leave, he is finally on a title contending team that will also get some good money thrown at him by Joe Dumars. According to former team-mate Damon Stoudamire.. Sheed is very happy in Detroit, loves the winning attuide, coaching staff and the passionate fans.

Obviously Memo would want bigger bucks. They'd have to choose between the two IMHO.
Kobe Bryant - Stay Paul Pierce - Stay Tracy McGrady - Stay (First pick in Draft anyone?) Allen Iverson - Leave Chris Webber - Leave Tyson Chandler - Leave Eddy Curry - Stay Vince Carter - Stay Steve Nash - Stay Antoine Walker - Stay Rasheed Wallace - Stay Kenyon Martin - Stay (Unless they go to the finals and lose yet again!) Memet Okur - Leave Jamal Crawford - Leave Emanuel Ginobili - Stay Erick Dampier - Leave Quentin Richardson - Stay Michael Finley - Stay ~Out, Prime

They'd have to choose between the two IMHO.</div> Actually It doesn't, the trade that was made right before the deadline has allowed Pistons to re-sign both players. All that is depending on how much a team will offer Okur. If a team offers him 7-8 million a season then the Pistons will let him walk, he isn't worth that much but cap wise Pistons can re-sign both. Money shouldn't be a problem for either parties.
Kobe Bryant- Leave Paul Pierce-Leave Tracy McGrady-Leave Allen Iverson-Leave Chris Webber-Leave Tyson Chandler-Leave Eddy Curry-Stay Vince Carter-Stay Steve Nash-Stay Antoine Walker-Leave(Who would want him?) Rasheed Wallace-Leave Kenyon Martin-Leave Memet Okur-Stay Jamal Crawford-Leave Emanuel Ginobili-Stay Erick Dampier-Leave Quentin Richardson-Stay Michael Finley-Stay Okur and Wallace are directly linked. If Wallace bolts for NY, then Okur stays. If Wallace stays, then Okur is out. Antoine is just a sad case. He needs to play for someone like the hawks. Actually I could see him in a bulls uniform next season. They don't really have any 3pt specialists. Webber is gone, because really, Sacremento doesn't need him. Dampier is a big man. What big in the league wouldn't want to play in the East? It's a cake walk for him in the East except for Jermain O'Neal and Rasheed. I have reasons for all of my choices, but don't want to write a full page post. Vince Carter is the coin toss. Could go either way once Toronto gets a GM who isn't in love with Vince.

How about Steve Francis? According to this source: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/stor...marc&id=1777633 Steve Francis isn't gonna be a Rocket next season. "And now Steve Francis is suggesting, after Tuesday's loss at Golden State, that Van Gundy's perfectionist demands have helped caused Houston's 3-9 slide. The truer statement: Francis doesn't respond well to criticism from anyone, even when Rudy Tomjanovich was the criticizer. As we've said here before, you're safe to surmise that he'll be someone else's Stevie Franchise next season."

Steve Francis should definitely be on the list. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know why Paul Pierce is on that list, he's not going anywhere!!!</div> Don't be surprised if he's traded. Pierce took exception to the dismantling of the Celtics. Going from a contender to a state of rebuilding in a 1 year would be frustrating to any franchise player. Danny Ainge is completely unpredictable and is dead set on building this team his way. I'm not sure if Pierce is part of his plan.
