<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kings activate Jackson from injured list The Sacramento Kings activated backup point guard Bobby Jackson from the injured list Thursday, in time for the team's Western Conference showdown against Minnesota. Jackson, the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year last season, spent 24 games on the injured list with a strained abdominal muscle. He is averaging 13.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game in 49 games this season. </div> Link
This is good news. The Kings really need him.He is the heart and soul of the team. But he will need to be fully recovered or he won't be help right now.
Now this is great news, he like the Jackson of the Rockets is an invaluable asset. Unlike mayhaps Strickland of the Raptors is supposed to be but hasn't been delivering. Along with Divac he provides excellent passing, leadership, knowledge and veterancy. That's a lack on the young team of the Kings. Plus he's like the best damn Sixth Man in the league with the likes of Boykins, no doubt about it, he'll make the team even better, we just better hope his injury didn't affect his game too much, all that energy is needed, come playoff time.
Yeh I think the reason Sacramento was stugling is because they had nobody coming off the bench with energy,I think Bobby Jackson brings exactly this. But if they want to be a complete team they will need B.Miller back also.
Bobby Jackson is a huge part of the Kings team. Getting himback in time for the playoffs is critical for the Kings if they want to get to the finals this year.
People are blaming the return of Webber as the reason why they're struggling. But the fact remains that it's the absence of Jackson that's affecting them. Now they've a spark plug of the bench to keep their open court game running.
Bobby was back and made his presence felt against the Timberwolves but they ran out of gas at the end. They led the whole game, by as much as like 11pts but the 4th quarter came around and they couldn't get the job done, Minnesota had an intensity Sacramento couldn't match.
