I would never have dreamed at the beginning of the season that I would actually be disappointed if we didn't make the playoffs... a completely new mentality has evolved over just the past few months where there's an expectation of success rather than failure

I agree. Within the past few months we have seen some exciting basketball from the Cavs. Losing 7 strait in the beggining had us talking draft early and doubting LeBron's abilities. We hated Zydrunas and we anticipated Wagner's return. We loved Ricky Davis and smiled everytime DMiles actually made a nice play and did his horn call. That was about all we had going in the 1st half of the season. Then the trades fell in place and EWill was severly hyped up as a leader on the floor and in the locker room. The Renegades went on strike because their all time favorite player was now a Celtic. In return we also get Battie, which was a huge suprise for me. I wouldn't have ever thought he would be wearing a Cavs jersy, "The Cavalier Killer". Then just when the fans started to like DMiles and he was actually producing we send him off for JMac, our MVP. Thats where everything changed. The Cavs were fun to watch again, they were winning games again and bringing playoff hopes to the town. We get into the playoff cycle and the same feeling went threw me as I had with the 96 Indians, we have a winning team. And we loved every minute of it. But then the Cleveland sports curse rose up once again, just like the Browns, just like the Indians, we fail. Something us Clevelanders hate but are very used to. But something tells me this Cleveland team is different. Something tells me that Basketball will bring Cleveland it's 1st trophey. And I feel it will be sooner than later.

I think Cleveland should see what kind of demand is out there for some of their players and draft picks this offseason. I defintely think a second scoring option to Lebron would greatly help this Cleveland team, and perhaps another veteran role player off the bench.

You can't help but be impressed with what Cleveland has shown this season, no one expected them to be contending for a playoff spot but they've fought tooth and nail all the way to the end. Lebron, Boozer, and Big Z will prove to be a force in The Eastern conference if they stay healthy and continue to develop. My prediction, you'll be seeing The Cavaliers in the playoffs next season and it's likely to be a series starting in Cleveland!

I was really hoping that they would make it. Technically, they still could make a run. But I don't think it's gonna happen. But it really would've helped NBA ratings if they did. Them going against the Pacers would stick first in my head then any other series 2nd. I'm not even a Cleveland fan, but that's how much impact that Lebron has in this league.

    about D-Miles..

His jumper has been on in Portland.. I like him in Portland, but I don't know maybe Cleveland could give him another shot in the Offseason.. D-Miles can be with his friend LeBron again and they'll be happy..

I watched the Blazers/Lakers game and the Blazers/Warriors game and D-Miles stepped up his game and he's been playing real good.. I'd give him another shot..

its funny how everyone's talking about dmiles again... even on the silas show yesterday, paul kept saying how he loved darius and thought he would be a great ball player but it was just a trade that had to made to get a pg
