    Some great comments there from Dennis, about feeling like a Sonic, and his contributions will never be forgotten as a key member of Seattle's inaugral Championship team. he would be welcomed back with open arms.

    However, although I know Nate hasn't been happy with the team at all this year, it seems very uncharacteristic of him to leave when the team is in, to be brutally honest, not a good state at all.

    Watch this space, I guess.

    well I can understand Nate being unhappy,I'm sure he was on the verge of a coronary many nights while watchin' his teams..*ahem*..defensive efforts. But having said that I don't think Nate is the type of cat to just up and leave because I'm sure he's driven to succeed just like his playin' days....

    A change after a disappointing season like the Sonics are having is most always welcome, but I agree that jumping ship would be VERY uncharacteristic of Nate, especially since he is the type of coach who is close to his players and can relate. I've read about Nate getting incredibly stressed at the Supes' play and I think for most coaches that would be incentive to leave. Dennis Johnson is the man, but I still think Nate is doing a fine job and that with an improved team this wouldn't even be discussed.
