Seems like nobody didn't make a preview, let's just talk about the game here.

    Preview

Sixers need to win this one,I see Kwame and Dalembert both having big games but those 2 won't do it alone, who has a better supporting cast will win.
Sixers want to get into the playoffs and will win by 8.

Martin, typo in your sig pic, the first word of all 3 statements should be spelled "they're"

*peeks at the box score of Philly/Wizards game* Wow, end of the 1st quarter, Philly is down 4 and 2 of their starters have the big goose egg while all of Washington's starters have scored at least 3pts each(they have also played every minute of the game so far as well). Not looking too good for Philly, I think they lose:(

I'm not sure what was up w/Dalembert coming off the bench, maybe we'll find out later.

    Heartbreaker!

Steve Mix titled it best. Heartbreaker. Sixers lose 83-80 to the Wiz with a game winning 3-pt shot by Gilbert Arenas. Man I can't believe this. Before they inbounded the ball I said to myself "if they hit this shot, I am going to be extremeley mad." But you can't hate Gilbert, he had 3 3-pt shots in the final court and played great for Washington. What got me was this game winning 3-ball banked in.

[IMG] Honorable Mention of the Game [IMG]

Willie Green: 15 pts and came up big for Sixers to tie it up at the last seconds when being down by as much as 10 to Washington.

I give the Sixers credit, they were getting beat the whole game, they could have called it a day but they fought and fought and had a couple chances to win it but it just didn't happen. Good effort by Philly. But now that they have lost, if Boston wins 1 more game this year, Philly will be in the lottery. They currently lead the Hornets 43-41 at the half.

This one hurt Philly's playoff chance. But it seems they are still in it now that the Cavs are also defeated in Miami, 106-91. The no. 8 Boston Celtics are facing a tough opponent in the New Orleans Hornets. If they lose, Philly's still got a big chance.

Sigh. what a freaking heartbreaker. I hate Gilbert Arenas now lol. I dunno how many of you saw the game but that no call on him with 6 seconds left... GRRR!!! Damn the refs! We probably could have won or had OT. I hope he gets fined for taking off his shirt and throwing it into the stands or whatever it was he did, lol. Yes, I am a sore loser. Especially in this case.

That is what he said. Cavs are also defeated in Miami. As in they were defeated at Miami's court. Anyway, like kvh4fan said, I also hate Gilbert Arenas now. Not just because the winning shot, but because of that 'bump' on Willie's shot at the end.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting B-22:</div><div class="quote_post">IM not really that woried because I know we still have a chance.</div>you should be worried cause Boston only needs to win 1 of their remaining game and Philly is out. With this loss, Philly no longer controls it's own destiny, Boston needs to help em.

That was a dagger in the heart!!! I will forever hate Gilbert Arenas!!!!!!! Boston has to play Atlanta TWICE, so thats 2 automatic wins. While we have to play the Nets and Indiana. So basically our season is over. ( Thanks Gilbert Arenas [IMG] ) I might as well start a "Sixers Season Recap" thread. Well then again I should have start a thread a long time ago. [IMG]

BTW is it me or is everyone wearing Iverson's sleeve thingy. I know Allen Iverson wears it to cover his tattoo because the NBA say's that the tattoo's he has on his right arm are "inappropriate". But all of a sudden I see Michael Curry, Steve Francis, Jamal Magloire and even Brad Miller wearing it. What is it good for anyways?

BOSTON LOST TO ATLANTA! 110-99! Our playoff hopes are still alive. Man this is a great race. Hopefully Miami and Atlanta can ruin the Celtics playoff hopes for Boston's last two games! GO SIXERS!!!

Miller has tendinitis in his elbow, not sure about the other clowns.

Every one wears the sleeves for injuries or to prevent injury.

Sixers lost to the Nets. We had a great first half, I though we would be able to pull it off. But we crumpled in the 2nd Half. So its a wrap. We're done. But watch out. We will be back with avengance next season. As long as Allen Iverson stay's on the team and we get a new coach.

MO CHEEKS! PHILLY NEEDS YOU!!! [IMG]

What have you been smoking? As long as Allen is in Philly,Sixers wont win a championship. We wont get Mo Cheeks as our coach and I hope Sixers will get rid of AI.Trade AI for #4 pick and Im cool with it.Do you really belive Samuel Dalembert and Willie Green can become something with AI on the team?

Sixers should trade Mckie,Robinson,Coleman,Iverson,McCaskill,Snow to get more than a first round exit or 10th pick in the draft.
