Anyone see the game? The second quarter looked great. But eventually things took their toll when you're talking about missing your league leading rebounder and double digit low post scorer. Nontheless, Foyle had a monster game with 20 points 16 rebounds 2 blocks and 2 assists. He was making baskets and getting fouled. It was like "And 1" every other basket. Him and Murph were the only warriors that were on. Jrich and Claxton were having trouble scoring. Sam Cassell remembered the last time Claxton dominated him and got his revenge by posting him up. Cliff and Troy just couldn't stop KG.
I was at the A's game right next door so I wasn't able to see the game. I checked the score in the 3rd quarter and we were up 54-53 and than they showed the final score on the jumbo screen and it showed we got our asses handed to us.
custodianrules, you forgot to mention that JR got shut down with only like.. 10 points or something. He could never really get going because Hassell played some great D and the rest of the Wolves didn't miss a beat. The Warriors only scored about 10 points in the 3rd quarter because of that D.. it was pretty hard to watch. They were still with the Wolves at the end of 3, but not taking advantage of KG on the bench with 4 fouls eventually caught up to them, as the Wovles took over and never looked back.
I'm sure I mentioned before that Trenton Hassell was all over Jrich. Maybe not this thread, but he's up there with Bruce Bowen in terms of defensive stoppers.
