<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chicago 114, Toronto 108 (OT) Jamal Stands Tall With 50-Point Outburst Box Score | Raptors Home | Bulls Home TORONTO, April 11 (Ticker) -- In a war of words between teams headed to the lottery, Jamal Crawford had the final say. Crawford scored 28 of his career-high 50 points in the fourth quarter and overtime as the Chicago Bulls posted a 114-108 victory over the Toronto Raptors. Although neither team qualified for the postseason, this game featured bad blood stemming from a six-player swap on Dec. 1 that brought Antonio Davis, Jerome Williams and Chris Jefferies to Chicago and Jalen Rose, Donyell Marshall and Lonny Baxter to Toronto. (Baxter is now with Washington). On Saturday, the players traded barbs in the newspapers at their old teams. Davis criticized former teammate and co-captain Vince Carter, saying he did not work hard enough to avoid injuries during the season. The two mixed it up with 5:36 left in the third quarter. Davis elbowed Carter in the chest and Carter answered by throwing the ball at Davis, hitting him in the hip. Both were given technicals. "It's never personal. It's always business," Davis said after the game. "He shouldn't have to be angry to play well. He should feel like when he goes into a game, he's going to punish the other team. My thing is, he needs to realize it. I can't realize it for him. The fans can't realize it for him, the coach, nobody." ----------------------------------------------------------- Rose scored 32 points, Carter added 30 and Morris Peterson 22 for the Raptors, who have lost 10 of their last 11. </div> Click here for the full post-game recap, courtesy of NBA.com Box Score I was unable to see the game because I was away all day.
I'm actually glad we lost...better chance for us to get a good pick in the draft. Yes, i know i might seem like a bad Raptors fan to some of you when i say this, but i only want what's best for the team. And i believe that getting a good draft pick would ultimately be a very good factor in improving the team for next year, which means losing the rest of our games this season...
raptors are losing anyways, we should at least be playing mason jr more to see if he's worth keeping. vince posterized curry...a couple of times in fact. some sick play from vc we've lost so much this year, i cant really even get upset about it anymore. im passed caring. v_carter15 is right...at least we're gonna get a decent lotto pick with all these losses

LOL
mason jr has shown some promise. he'd be a good player to keep around if its not going to cost us any other good signings. hes impressed me a few times actually. obviously today wasnt one of those days lol

lol, i don't think we should keep him unless we can get him with very very lil money.. because we will get a pg from draft and we have alvin fro backup....btw mo pete's play lately has impressed me ....and i think we should definately sign him....but i hope he will play agreesive like he has last couple of weeks for future seasons as a raptor ....because some players only play like that to get contracts
^ i disagree. Signing Mo shouldn't be on the Raptors' to-do list. it should be getting him out for a solid offer. He has been terribly inconsistent this year and he shows only glimpses of aggresiveness cause of all the 3s he takes. (He is a good 3 pnt shooter though) Also, i've seen many times this season where his ball handling has been crap...that probably also contributes to his lack of driving into the lane this season. I don't really want him back.....but if our only trade option is for something useless or something that will hurt us more, keep him then. Also, i agree to keep Mason Jr. if we can. He has definitely shown signs of promise...unfortunately O'Neils "tactics" have not allowed hiim to prove himself at all.
