I missed it... as for swearing in the league....there a LOT of swearing in the actual game, when the game is actually going on...but thats the part of the NBA we dont get to hear...id love to hear the commentators shut up for 10 mins and let the viewers just listen to the trash-talking/hardwood squeaks of a game....of course the expeirence is much more cooler when ur actually there at the game then watching it from TV but still.. as with Shaq swearing, he was pissed, he is passionate and yes hes gonna swear... David Stern and his image philospy isnt really working cuz the NBA isnt all "read to achieve" and all that good stuff... there are good players and there are bad players...these are grown men, of course theyll swear when their mad.. and you cant compare Shaq to David Robinson (who is by far one of the nicest guys ever in the NBA)

I dont really care if players curse on live TV, its part of everyday life, you hear those everyday... and i think its very dumb to fine someone trying to express their feelings.. ok Shaq used a bad word and you guys whine about it. How about other players who criticized officials without using profanity??? FINED!!! i think the league needs to cool off with the fining and the league did do a good job this time ruling on the judgement.
