Lue agrees: Point guard is needed

Well thats good to hear.. Maybe we will go out and get one that CAN Start... Id keep him though.. He could come off the bench..

He admits he is better coming off the bench. Wesbroid said he will be part of our roster for next year .

 

Finally showing some backbone and maturity, he's a scorer and should simply be that. If someone is as linear or one dimensional as that, then as he said, he should stick to the bench. Good decision and opportunity for the space to be taken and others to step up.

 

Man i thought Lue could really do something too but as it turns out even he thinks he isnt ready in a year or two. Reece Gaines should come in the guy is from Louisville pitino must have taught him something, Gaines can be a solid point gaurd he's young and most of the games he's played have been good ones.

 

Lue. Your right. We do need a point guard that's ready. I like how he came out and said it. good job Lue

 

I kind of feel bad for the guy , I mean if Orlando had a solid Center and Grant Hill healthy or Pat Garrity? I'm sure we would've been better , a lot of teams don't have all-star PG's and do very well..but he feels even worst after this season , A PG runs the offense and choses when and how to excecute it , but without guys that can finish is useless unless you have a guy like Iverson or Cassel which average 20+ ppg.

Gaines is shaking off the Cob Webs.. I think he is finally showing he can do something, and that he is not a bust.. Lue could very well fit on our roster.. but he has to come off the bench..

Hes played 30 minutes tonight, so we are obviously giving him a chance.. He has an assist, 6 Rebounds, and 8 Points at the end of the third.. Might I add, Lue has not played ONE single Minute..
