Bad News is Andre Igoudala has declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft. His coach, Lute Olson, gave him till the 11th of April to make his choice. Andre decide that he would go for the NBA.... The Wildcats do however still have Fox on their team which will be a good fill in. He missed the whole season I think with an injury but this season hes coming back. With the 2 big men of Fox and Frye bumping bodies down low, they could be a very good team. They just have no depth at all. Let's see how the Wildcats can do.
Depth won't be as much as a problem this year. They still have great guard depth, Adams will probably be able to play something that resembles his natural position atleast, and Mohamed Tangera gives more depth at the forward sports with Radenovic (who I hate). It might be a problem still, but not nearly to the magnitude that it was this past year. They are like UNC, lots of talent that keeps coming back but no defense at all. That can cause problems with an outcome similar to what they had this past year. Also, Isaiah Fox plead guilty to a misdameanor shoplifting charge (he stole $2.58 worth of candy), but I don't know if he'll serve any type of suspension from the team or anything.
I agree sunsfan, the Cats are the type of team that is in the tournament hunt every single year and it is a testament to excellent recruiting and coaching by Lute Olsen. The forwards must get better for AZ to succeed next year and I think they will with the freshman additions. Iguodala is a big loss no doubt but if any team can deal with it, it's Arizona.
