    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Streetball2k3:</div><div class="quote_post">Dude, why are you so quick to critisize me? I stated a true fact about your stupidity (sorry but I have to say it) and you come alone and accuse me of stalking you and not having a "life"? Please, stop this insanity.

    Am I one of these pricks? All I am doing is stating my opinion and as you said in the post above... its alright to do this. Yes, I agree that disagreeing is not a problem but why when I disagreed with your point did you attack me saying im a stalker? Please cool down, I dont want any enemies.</div>

    no ur not a prick for disagreeing with me but whether it is a fact or not, calling some1 else stupid is inappropriate.

    clearly, u still want to personally attack me or u would just stop bringing this subject up over and over again. from now on, can we agree to this? i will stop posting about u and u would stop posting about me.

    The Passion of the Carter

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After the game, a reporter interviewed Vince about what went wrong this season and he responded with the weary cliches of a man tired of being asked questions he is too gracious to give the truthful answers for. For better or worse, Vince almost always takes the high road with the press and he does not point fingers at his teammates, his coach or team management. Unfortunately, this trait makes him appear nonchalant and uncaring about the success of the team, which draws the ire of his multitude of critics.

    Recently, Sportsnet commentator Jack Armstrong has joined those critics and he cemented his stance as a hater with last night's post-game rant about Vince's apparent lack of passion. It was nothing I hadn't read before on various Internet message boards but it was surprising to hear such a ferocious condemnation from the usually jovial Armstrong. Jack might be the fan favorite of all the Raptors announcers so his comments will certainly fan the flames of dismay towards Vince.
    </div>

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">You want to know what's overrated in the NBA? The importance of passion and leadership towards winning. How passionate is Tim Duncan? He makes Al Gore look like a wild man. But you won't hear Spurs fans complaining about that because they have two titles in the last five years. And how strong are the leadership skills of Shaq and Kobe? They are surely two of most selfish and self-absorbed professional athletes in the public eye but they get a free pass because the Lakers won three titles in a row before last season.

    Tim, Shaq and Kobe all won their titles because they are elite, clutch performers with strong supporting casts and mastermind coaches. Vince has earned his reputation as an elite, clutch performer, but his supporting cast features the weakest bench in the NBA and his coach is a rageaholic with a sick fetish for no-talent "gym rats". The Dave Feschuks and Jack Armstrongs and Leo Rautins of the world would rather trade Vince Carter than fire Kevin O'Neill. They are among the most prominent voices in Toronto media coverage of the Raptors, and they are either stupid or insane.</div>

    Read the rest, its petty good.

    It'd be nice to see him STOP takin those fadeaways(to look slick or w/e it is he tryin to do) ESP when PG or someone much smaller is guardin him. Doe he ever learn from Jalen Rose? Rose posts up like hell everytime he gets the ball, and why does Vince not do that? His scorin would go up like hell too, not to mention number of times he'd go to the line. I'd rather see him lose the control of the ball tryin to get in then miss another fadeaway... for real, see Artest, A.I. Kobe, or w/e, those guys drive in and get calls, and Vince gotta do that alot more often, like I said, he's Top 5 talent in the L no matta what ppl say bout him, period.

    Nice find OG15, I agree fully with what scott says. You cannot put the blame souly on Vince for a poor all around season from the coaching staff and most of the players on the team. P.S Scotts remark about AD in the blog below the Vince's passion blog was priceless [IMG]

    i read the raptorsblog.com thing....pretty interesting site

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">

    Standing in the misty rain alongside a painted Maple Leafs symbol on the sidewalk outside the Air Canada Centre, a guy in a scraggly red sweatshirt hawking tickets to a meaningless basketball game tried to sound upbeat.

    "It's gonna be huge," the ticket scalper (maybe "extremely unlikely seller" would be a better phrase for last night) said with a loopy grin when asked if he expected to take a bath on tickets for the Raptors' home finale.

    "Hey," he shouted to no one in particular. "Get your Raptors' tickets. Come see Vince Carter's last game as a Raptor."

    </div>

    Exactly, why would you attack your best player on the team? The way how things work is you drop the ppl that cant score, and keep the ppl who can! That is just dumb how people wanna trade away Vince, so what? Keep all the current underachievers on our roster and trade away the top #10 scoring team leader? Insane.
