<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">Did you even watch the Kings game? Did you not see Kobe give that game away while trying to prove a point like a little kid? He could have cost the Lakers the Pacific title and the #2 seed in the playoffs. It is a fact that the Lakers need to get the ball to Shaq in order to be sucessful. Everytime he gets the ball he is double and triple teamed. It is not his fault that his teamates can't hit open jumpers.</div> Actually supposedly there was nothing to react childish to, because all of the Laker players seem to not know anything about criticism, and it sounded believable. Karl, Phil and Gary have said they havent heard any criticism or complaints, so unless it was Shaq Kobe had no one to really react to. Maybe there is something else going on, we will probably never know but I'm not going to blame him for that loss, though he did play a big part on it. Getting the #2 seed should not have been decided so late in the season, we should have took charge and continued to ride that winning streak, or atleast bounce back from that loss against San Antonio. As to the whole Kobe thing going on, I really wouldn't take any shots away from anyone because we know Kobe plays to win and even Gary last night said Kobe just has to keep doing what he does best. Someone mentioned us reacting to this as if we were Sacramento fans talking about Chris Webber, well I'd have to agree it seems like we are at that point right now, and that is disappointing. Kobe did not lose the game for us, he didn't help but don't be blaming that loss on him. Kobe has had a tough year and is still our best player, we need him to get anywhere in the playoffs.
Lakers will win by 15. Lakers will get back on track and everyone will forgive Kobe Bryant because he will prove everyone wrong AGAIN by getting everything together like he always does towards the end of the season.

There's already been enough distractions surrounding this team already, and these guys know the media will blow this up into a huge frenzy. They probably lied to the media so that they can get them off their backs. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Phreeze:</div><div class="quote_post">As to the whole Kobe thing going on, I really wouldn't take any shots away from anyone because we know Kobe plays to win and even Gary last night said Kobe just has to keep doing what he does best. If you don't know what those stats are, that's Kobe Bryant's shooting numbers in our losing streak in which we've lost three out of four games. And you feel there's not a problem in L.A.?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting JLee348:</div><div class="quote_post">Hey remember the magic's game? How many pts did Kobe have in the first half? I remember numerous amount of times when Kobe was trying to be a facilitator in the first half then dominate in the second.</div> You won't win any debates if you say 'Orlando Magic.' Any team/player can score against them, their defense is terrible. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Kobe did not lose the game for us, he didn't help but don't be blaming that loss on him. BUT, he could have attacked the basket more and looked to get around the double teams. Anyways, back to the game predictions. The Lakers will probably come out strong and look to get Kobe/Shaq involved. I'll take LA by 8.
Some guy asked me when was the last time Kobe hardly shot in the first half. I was just naming one of the recent games that Kobe hardly shot in the first half.
Take Laker_fever's advice and start posting about this game. There is already an active Kobe thread. Warriors will win tonight.
Good preview Laker_fever, forgot to mention that earlier. My guess is that we'll struggle once again but finally put away the Warriors at the end of the 4th. Lakers win by 8 102 - 94
16 shots already for kobe? ball hog, man i hate him i hate him. pass, he never passes. j/k.. lakers down by double-digits again, how nice. Lakers still win, kobe makes game-winner :-O
Lakers just need to pick up their defense and start pounding it into Shaq. The Warriors are not going to keep up their shooting pace for the 2nd half.

The Warriors are playing without Dampier and Murphy, they have no depth yet Foyle is in there and only has 2 fouls. The Lakers aren't exploiting the Warriors greatest weakness in this game.
^^It's getting closer by the minute, the Warriors always play with a lot of heart, but they don't have the players to close out this game.

Its a thing of beauty that the Warriors are still in this game and controlling it. They are playing with no Murphy, Dampier, NVE. They are pretty much missing 3 starters.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">2 point lead only. Here we come. Warriors are unraveling.</div>LOL...
Shaq was huge down the stretch and the Warriors could not get any defensive rebounds. Good game though.
