Great game by the Lakers. However, I'm concerned with the way they have to constantly fight back to win in the 4th quarter. They have not been able to take control of the game from the opening tip off and win the ends of each quarter. Playing behind in the post season is a recipe for disaster.

Great because of the win and the excitement of coming back from a double digit deficit. I also liked seeing Kobe go for 45 points and the Big Fella dominating at the end of the game to close it out for us.

I knew this game would be tight. Great game by Kobe, and Shaq finally getting a whole bunch of dunks again. And that's the first time I have ever seen Malone throw down a oop. But still never seen him dunk with both hands, anyways good comeback like I knew it would be. But I wish they could've just dominated this game from the start. But at least they got the W

lol...he didn't throw it down. I think he barely touched the rim. He has an ugly game but it is effective. It was fun to watch Robinson and him go at it. Two crafty veterans.

Being as old as he is, I consider that throwing it down for him. He's not Dominique, he still kinda dunked it which still surprised me, and probaly even him even receiving a lob pass.

How tall is he? Doesn't take much to touch the rim at his height.

6-7 1/2, don't believe that listed height stuff. Cause he isn't taller then McDyess, I'm just saying I have never seen him even catch a lob pass before and surprised that he even tried to dunk it. The last time I seen MJ dunk off a lob was in 93. He's shorter, but he jumps like a whole foot higher.

45 points on 14-29 shooting efficiency. This was pretty much a slap in the face to all the people who have been criticizing him the last few days, and still was able to dish off 8 assists. For all you who called him a ballhog, SHADDUP.. For all you who said he is selfish, SHADDUP... lol

Being able to score that effectively and dish off 8 dimes really was a nice way to react to all the criticism though, you really can't call him selfish nor too passive now.. good game for Kobe, he and Fisher were the only ones who played D throughout the game.

Nobody is questioning or criticizing Kobe's ability. We all know he is capable of this and that is why so many fans were upset with his performance on Sunday. He didn't even attempt to contribute in the first half of that game. He let his ego get in the way and tried to prove a point like a child.

When am I going to get what? I never said anyone questioned Kobe's ability. Kobe just bounced back from the criticism of shooting too much, then passing too much with a game of doing both. We all know he can do this and I never said anything about proving that he could do it, because we all know he is capable. Don't act like I have been one of those guys like JLee or krzygreen and am blind being a Kobe fanatic like them, because if you read any of my posts concerning the Kobe issue you would know that.

EDIT: BTW I'm a big Kobe fan, but I'm also a big time Laker fan. I know what Laker fans were upset about, because I was also upset with the way he had been playing. no need for you trying to tell me something like that, thanks.

The people criticizing him were upset because he didn't even attempt to do this against Sacramento when it counted most. So how is this a "slap in the face".

Kobe doesn't seem like a smart guy, you prove your point against a depleted Warriors team without 3 of their best players instead of playing like a man against the Kings who will likely now win the pacific.

At this rate L.A will be lucky to get out of round one, they can't even beat up teams who are shorthanded. Not a good sign heading into the playoffs.

I'm not going to say this Laker win was excellent or decent, but it was downright disgusting. The Lakers allowed the Warriors to beat up on them for mostly the entire game, until the fourth quarter when they finally woke up from the dead, and realized HEY GUYS, THIS GAME IS CRITICAL! WE HAVE TO WIN THIS GAME TO AT LEAST TIE SACRAMENTO FOR THE DIVISION CROWN! Geez. Where's the fire? Heh, well the only fire I saw yesterday evening listening to KNBR 1050 from the Bay Area, was Kobe Bryant. And yes, maybe my criticism and others can slowly go down the drain. 45 points on 14/29 shooting. My memo to Kobe: Are you satisfied now? Does 45 points make you happy? Are you willing to be a man and rise up to the challenges in the 2004 playoffs?

Well, looks like I'll have to support the Warriors tomorrow night to destroy the Sacramento Kings and for my Lakers to have revenge and absolutely rout the Portland Trail Blazers. There's still a chance to be 2004 Pacific Division Champions!

Yep, that's exactly what I'm going to do. Support the Warriors tonight and hope the Lakers come out killing the TrailBlazers. GO WARRIORS!!![IMG] (probably the only time I'll ever say that)
