Ahh, and what about the Laker killer Nick Van Exel.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gohn:</div><div class="quote_post">It looked kind of like the Lakers were toying with the Warriors the hole time.

Cardinal and Robinson played great though. I think the Warriors could have won the game if they could have came up with a defensive rebound in the 4th quarter.</div>

Nah, it didn't look like a toying. They just got hot at the right time and the Warriors just kind of lost composure in the second half turning the ball over too much. I think the Lakers were lucky to even win the game.

I think J-Rich gotta learn how to take Shaq to the rack. Man, if J-Rich could blow by people like Kobe does. What can u envision?

Yea, my thoughts exactly. I don't think J-Rich will ever be able to drive the way kobe does but he settles for outside jumpers too often. He tried to fade away against Shaq a few times when he should have took him to the basket.

LOL, Just telling it the way I saw it. Warriors would have won if Speedy and Murphy were playing though. Warriors could have used Murphy's rebounding, Robinson played well but his 3 rebounds a game, isn't good enough.

I think, I know Speedy would have been the difference tonight. He owned them in the previous match up but we gave it every thing we had with what we had.

^Yea I agree, in the 4th when the Warriors couldn't get any good shots, they could have used speedy's drives to the basket to open things up alittle bit since the Lakers played pretty tight D, Speedy could have got into the lane for a layup or found the open shooter.

Could've used another 10 points, 15 boards and tough D on Shaq from Dampier as well.

Speedy played a few minutes but he is still having problems with his groing(sp?).

I don't think there has ever been a team where their Starting Pg, Backup Pg and their backup backup Pg have been hurt at the same time...ha ha....Might as well start J.R. Bremer if he is still with the club. lol

Man good effort. Only were down by 3 until they had to foul intentionally in the final seconds. You know its really bad when you're down to only 7 healthy players because Claxton's now complaining about a strained right groin muscle. Man is he injury prone or what? And Murph is still bothered by that punctured right lung. And Damp missed out on showing off against Shaq. Dunleavy, Pietrus and Cardinal were studs in this game. Where the heck was Jrich?

J-Rich choked or else we'd win no problem. If he had the 3 point touch of last year we'd kill the lakers.

He's definitely lacking consistency in that department. This year he tied a franchise record for most CONSECUTIVE 3 pointers in a game and then he goes and shoots high twenties low thirties 3-point field goal percentage as a whole for the season. I think he needs to improve his technique for one thing. There's a ton of things I see wrong with his shooting style: For one he jumps too high! And the reason why that is bad is because as the game goes along your legs get tired and your jump becomes inconsistent leading to shots that fall short or go off because it "doesn't feel right" before the release. The other thing I'd fix is Jrich's conditioning. You've all seen his 2nd night performances on back to back games so it could possibly be that his legs just get fatigued with all that leaping and running. That is when he tends to settle for jumpers rather than taking it all the way. Lately though, he's mixed it up and improved his conditioning somewhat so he's broken that trend.

BTW I liked Jrich's handles against Kobe. He blew right by Kobe on one or maybe two plays but was afraid to go at Shaq and dished off. Right now Jrich has got the stats to be one of the top 5 shooting guards in the league, but that doesn't matter. He's go to be more consistent and even better next year on the defensive end. Pietrus might just take his job away. Plus if Jrich asks for the max and the warriors give it to him just so they don't lose their best player. He'll be booed more than Jamison when they trade him for the cap relief.

The next Dominique? or i don't know. But JRich has the abilities and the tools to be a very good player in the league...Too bad i missed the game though, but that movie The Girl Next Door was pretty good, so i shouldn't complain too much. But it sounded like a good game, and it must had been fun to see Pietrus play 40 minutes. Did he end up guarding Payton, or was he guarding Kobe? Kobe had a big game, so i am either guessing Pietrus had a bad defensive game or he was guarding someone else. I'd am getting excited of the possibility to see Pietrus and JRich play together more along with Speedy and Murphy. But then again, with how this management is, they'll probably screw it up.

Not necessary. Just let Brian Cardinal take over the game like he's doing in the second quarter.

So far the Warriors are killing the Kings on the boards with a 31 to 19 edge. Including 15 offensive rebounds already. An 8 point lead for the Golden State Spoilers, while only shooting 31% from the field, I'm starting to really like their chances tonight.

Yeah, with the Warriors beating the Kings, the Lakers move in to the 2nd seed. Good job Warriors.
