Ollie in for a spectacular nine minutes of 2 assists, a reb, a steal and get this

    3 fouls and out for...

    Newble who's been solid!

    Hanging tough!

Bring it home for the fans boys.

Mason has been shut down in the second half thus far.

Get the ball inside or penetrate!

2.50 to play up 2, but Bucks have possession. Anyone's game.

If Z's shot had been falling tonight, we could have been safer, but he is getting to the line and knocking them down.

Who will come up with the big play?

Ollie with the big play to James and the lead with possession and 41 seconds on the clock. This next play is big. Booz with some timely boards and Redd a couple of timely misses.

Kick it into Z and back out to McInnis for the open look. Bam it goes down.

    Good play Coach Silas.

A sweet win in front of the home crowd! Cavs edged the Bucks out, playing well in the final minutes. Silas substitutions and plays all looked beautiful all night long, especially when it counted making a case for the man's in- game intelligence.
    1. Newble in to make shots and played great man to man d all game
    2. Z perfect for free throws so Silas sticks with him
    3. Big play to J- Mac for jumper
    4. Cavs play solid d in second half, forcing Milwaukee misses
    5. Time outs definitely settled us down and we started quarters on runs

LeBron made his case for lone ROY honors with 27,9, and 7. Amazing that he is a hs rookie and few us are probably surprised by this game. What an exciting player is. The boy can put on a show!

Z SOLID on d, stoning the Bucks at opportune times and putting up 18,14,5,3
What a game for the big guy. Solid at the line. 10-10

J-Mac hits it when it counts. Bad from three but silky smooth from 18 and in.
Hits the game winner and played good d.

Newble was just the way we like him, like a machine gun. Short bursts. 4-7 for 8 points and played important d when he was in.

Boozer was Boozer: 18,8, and 4

Wagner saw little time at pg as Silas obviously wanted this one at home, so no fooling with lineup. As someone other than me said, we'll likely see him, Ked, and Diop in next one. Maybe Kapono?

Great way to end it at home. Big win for the fans, wish I could have been there.

We've got the lottery, a rejuvenated basketball city with rising expectations, and room to make some off- season moves. [IMG]

We got rid of his bad contract. He was too injury prone and inconsistent to keep here. Atlanta are running and gunning at the moment.

BTW : Sura is also a free agent this season!

Running and gunning on- court during the season so they'll be sure to be doing it in the off-season. Cavs did the same the two seasons before this and I'm glad the majority of it is done. Proud to see that the Cavs have found some stability in

A solid point- guard (Jeff) who wins games

Their golden boy (Bron) Beyond descriptive words for talent at his age

Some bruisers (Booz, Battie, and Z) who can shoot C'mon Z can bruise!

A coach who makes the team want it!

Their fan- base: Clevelanders still love the sports that burn them!

The Cavs are starting to develop some identity and I like it. Think about this too. LeBron is a great kid, Booz is a fantastic citizen, Z loves Cleveland, McInnis likes to start. I like the mentality of Paul Silas too. He's tough and he's blue- collar. Cleveland will LOVE him next year when we win 45+. We're talented and we're likeable. The Cavs are gonna be a bandwagon team and it will be the first time they've done that in my lifetime. More importantly these guys are gonna win. When Silas gets the team-d going as effectively as he has rebounding watch out!

When Silas gets that shooter, another young rookie and a bunch of capable assistant, we'll be doing more than knocking on the door next season.

    Recap

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CLEVELAND (AP) -- LeBron James gave the home crowd one more night to savor.

Cleveland's sensational rookie scored 27 points as the Cavaliers won their home finale, 93-89 over the Bucks on Monday night, denying Milwaukee a chance at moving closer to gaining home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The Bucks (41-40), who had their opportunities down the stretch, have one game remaining against Toronto. The Bucks would win a tiebreaker over Miami (41-40) but not over New Orleans (40-40), which played later Monday.

James' breakaway dunk with 1:06 to go put the Cavaliers ahead to stay, 88-87. After Michael Redd missed two shots, Jeff McInnis hit a jumper and James made a free throw to give Cleveland a 91-87 lead. Keith Van Horn's layup cut it to two with 11.7 seconds to play.

Forced to foul, the Bucks put Zydrunas Ilgauskas on the line and the Cavs' 7-foot-3 center made both tries for a 93-89 lead with 10.6 seconds left.

Nice effort tonight despite a 2nd quarter lull. I wish Newble had contributed all season like he has the last 2 weeks.
Ollie actually did a decent job in there tonight. He played some solid D on Redd.

I do worry about the heavy minutes for LeBron. I don't know if 45 is necessary in basically a meaningless game. Silas has to trust his bench a little more and let the younger players play through some mistakes. Although I do admit the bench pretty much blew tonight.
I agree with the earlier discussion that guys like Diop, Wagner, Brown and Kapono should get some big minutes on Wed.

    Karma,
Welcome back. I do hope the Cavs make those additions next year. I worry they're going to just go after older veterans and not add anymore youth. I have a sense the organization thinks it closer and further along that it actually is. Stephen Jackson continues to look good. They better make a run at him.

    Hey Narl....

Been back for a bit, except for the recent long weekend.

Anyhows, I think it was all for the fans tonight, playing James so long. The last couple I think we'll see plenty of Wags, Diop and Brown. S-Jax looks better by the day. Its one of those, I told you so's(not at you Narl). Just like Z, I knew the boy was capable.
