With the Cavaliers season closing for another year a little earlier than we liked, we turn our attention to other ball clubs to root for, or in other cases, pledge our hatred. I personally have a soft spot for division rivals New Orleans and hope they go far, but I do not see them being a threat at all. Maybe they'll get to the second round, but thats it. Teams I wouldn't mind winning EAST : Milwaukee, New Orleans, Indiana and New Jersey WEST: Utah, San Antonio, Memphis Teams I wish no success for EAST : New York, Boston, Detroit. WEST: Lakers, Sacramento, Dallas Basically I do not want to see the Lakers, New York and Boston be successful. Prediction : Spurs in 6 over the Pacers!
(This is disregarding the brackets, so some of the teams I want to win might be playing each other in the first round.) Teams I wouldn't mind winning EAST : Indiana, New Jersey WEST: Sacramento, San Antonio, LA Teams I wish no success for EAST : Detroit, Milwaukee, Miami. WEST: Memphis, Denver, Minnesota Prediction: absolutely NO idea... this is so up in the air
Teams I wouldn't mind winning EAST : Indiana, Detroit, New York WEST: Los Angeles, Memphis, Utah, San Antonio Teams I wish no success for EAST : New Orleans, Boston WEST: Sacramento, Dallas(for some reason i don't like them), Denver I just want Karl and Gary to win a championship and move on Prediction : Lakers over Detroit in 5 games
I wouldn't mind Payton and Malone winning a title, but they play for the Lakers, which to me makes it impossible for well wishes.
I DO NOT want Denver, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Detroit, or Sacramento to win it all. I wouldn't mind Minnesota, Memphis, Jersey, Indiana, or Miami I could care less about Milwaukee, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas or San Antonio
It really is a 3 way race in the East with the Pacers, Pistons and Nets going at it. I hope all teams are healthy as it will be a great conference finals matchup. The East, while being weak overall, has 3 teams that can win it. Still wouldn't put any money on it. Indiana deserve to go through. Will they choke? Reggies last chance?
I have no love for the Knicks. Never been a fan.I really hope they get swept. Good luck to your Rockets though Ming. They are under the radar in the playoffs. Personally I do not like Francis, but outside of him, I like your roster.
Teams I want to Succed.. East: Indiana(my boy Reggie has to win it all.look for him to step up his game big time) and Detroit West: Sacramento and Minnesota Teams I want to Fail Miserably(sp?) East: Nets, Boston West: Lakers, NUGGETS(Knocked Portland off)

The fact that every Cavalier forum gets visitors (trolls) from Denver, saying Carmelo did this, Carmelo did that, LeBron sucks etc, gives most Cavs fans the sh!ts. So pretty much they want them to fail, so they go crawl back behind a rock. Personally I am happy to see Andre Miller suceed and lead that team to the playoffs. The T-Wolves (I think thats who they play) will be a tough hurdle.

I for one hope for success for the Cavs and their fans. Trust me, I know right know the feeling of going to the playoffs, and extending our season that much longer. Plus being in the East, you guys might make to the second round, or even the Conf. finals. You just need that one deadeye shooter, and a SF, and the skies the limit.
hey I love carmelo, I like his style of play and in fact I secretly think he may have a little better scoring ability at this point than lebron, but lebron gets my whole-hearted vote for roy and since there's more to bball than just scoring i think that's why the majority of the "experts" are going with lbj as well both are fantastic players though and have had a great first year of what will no doubt be hall of fame careers. my wish in fact is that denver will give carmelo to us, that would solve our sf problems!
The LeBron Hater Troll is a very common species EVERYWHERE. No matter what board you go to, they post, bicker, complain, whine, cry, and do anything they can to ruin the board and flush the Cavs fans out of having a good time. Their last thing they have to knock James with is Melo. First James was too young, never played with NBA players, could not shoot, could not play point, could not play a whole season, could not wear the #23, blah, blah, blah. Now they got what they wished for, James out of the playoffs with Melo in. They will play it off like Melo is better than James and that is the reason why the Nuggets are where they are while the Cavs are sitting home. Of course doing that makes them look like knucklehead fans that don't know a thing about basketball. They may think they are making some people mad (mainly just 12 year olds fight back with them) but the fact is they embarrass themselves and are too stupid to realize it. Carry on, lol.
Personally I wish success for Carmelo he deserves to be in the playoffs I have been a fan of his sonce he was a sophmore in High School. Us Cavs fans need to support the fellow phenom not hate him. I would hope that Denver fans would want the Cavs to do good in the playoffs if they didnt make it. Anyway, I hope LA loses in the first round. Teams I Want To Do Good: Memphis San Antonio Detroit Minnesota
YES: WEST Minnesota and LA EAST Detroit, NY NO: WEST Don't care EAST Boston I personally think LA is taking the whole thing. Shaq dominates post season and Kobe is just a phenom. Oh yeah and the other two guys aren't that bad neither. But my heart goes to Minnesota.
