<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Phreeze:</div><div class="quote_post">Lakers and JLee348 are you the same person? lol you guys basically repeat what the other says, both make posts that are two or three words just because you agree with them.. I guess I do agree with you that everything is much more blown up because of the internet and like you said the message boards though, much more information is out there and it doesn't help the rumor stuff going around, its much easier to just come up with bs now.</div>

to answer your questions, we are not the same person...but he agrees with me, i agree with him, nothing wrong with that.

And yes, a lot of things are blown WAYYYYY out of proportion, which makes "fans" such as lakers fever turn against his so called favorite player. Thats not right, instead of listening to all the things everyone else says, stick to your own opinion. If you really like the player, you will understand everything he does is for a reason. If you really like him so much, then bring up the fact that Kobe has been treated horribly by his team for many years now. And no its not because hes selfish, his so called "selfishness" has led them to 3 titles, so that statment is impossible to make. Maybe he got sick and tired of everyone calling him selfish. Do people know what hes mentally going through? DO YOU? NO! so dont be quick to judge.

look Lakers Fever, im not questioning ur love for the lakers or kobe bryant, i understand that your favorite player didn't produce, on NATIONAL TV, and that makes you angry, that is understandable, but when it gets the point where you talk about him being traded, or bad for the team, you cross the line. Kobe is the lakers, people go to staples mainly to see kobe. Shaq of course helps the situation, as does malone and payton, but they dont have that explosiveness, that will and drive to bring the team back from 28 (against DALLAS at home last season) and make the crowd go WILD. OR shoot 12 threes in 1 game and make the crowd go WILD. I mean, this is something special we are witnessing, dont go and say something silly by you want him to get traded. He is 1 of the two best guards in the league, aside from tmac, would you really want to see him gone? you might have overreacted to the situation on sunday, and that is totally understandable.

Hey Phreeze, if these two are the same person....Unbelievable.

Ok, so now I'm being accused of turning against Kobe Bryant. Gosh, how many times am I gonna repeat myself? I love Kobe Bryant and his athletic talent, but I'm a true honest fan, and I can criticize the ridiculous things he does on the basketball court. Like last Sunday at Sacramento. So go ahead and label me as a "Laker fan" but other people recognize my points and what I'm trying to say. <font color="Red">Edit -- Shapecity for personal attack, consider this Warning #1</font>

I don't see how not agreeing with what your favorite player has anything to do with "turning against" him.. I too question some things Kobe has done in his career and if there really was an issue and he really didn't shoot because of it, then it definitely was a selfish move. There is no doubt about that, and I don't see how it relates whether to be a true "Kobe fan" or not.. To "understand everything he does is for a reason" also has nothing to do with it IMO, because he does do many stupid things on the court and any basketball fan would realize that. Being a fan about someone and having an obsession over them is different. I like Kobe as a basketball player but there are many things I don't agree with that he has done, that doesn't make me any less of a "Kobe fan" than you.

lol it seems like this has turned into a Phreeze and Laker_Fever_834 VS. Lakers and JLee348 debate..

Ok for the last time, yes I'm mad that Kobe didn't produce against Sacramento in the biggest game of the year, but I'm also upset at his shot selections, his turnovers, and his inability to get his teammates involved in our losses to San Antonio, Portland, and like I've already mentioned Sacramento. IS THAT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND???? I said maybe Kobe should go to another team because he really allows his ego and child-like behaviors to cross the line, and what organization can put up with that nonsense? Example: Do you think the Philadelphia 76ers are going to keep Allen Iverson with his behaviorial problems and his inability to respect his coaches?

I know what I'm seeing in Kobe is greatness. (Check out my sig) But greatness comes with being a team leader. Not afraid to not only make yourself look great, but the supporting cast around you. And not disrespecting your head coaches, or quitting in a game because you disagree with gameplans. that's all I'm trying to say. CATCH MY DRIFT?

Look at these 2 moronic so called "Laker fans" going at it. Arguing who the better fan is? LOL, pathetic.

LakerFever- ooooh, you're big, since you are part of the Laker Trifecta Team huh? Is that what it is? Picking on a newer member of the board? I think you would have learned by now.

Lakers- You are new, and may not know the rules of the site, but you need to chill on this one. Why are you getting in an argument over who the better fan is? If you're gonna get in an argument bro, get in one that is worthwhile!

Jeez, a guy that has gotten suspended twice needs to come along and chide ya both? Wow, what has the world come to?! :P

Anyways, if you guys are looking for the biggest, most dedicated fan, I am here! [IMG]

    GO LAKERS!!!

Moronic so-called Laker fans MDE?? What do you bring to the table besides your one sentence posts in the Laker previews?

I'm not picking on the new guy. I'm defending myself on this whole Kobe situation, and he's really trying to slam me for my opinions, that's all. If somebody is going to confront me like that, they're gonna hear from me. Plain and simple. And if they don't like it, then you might as well not debate then. Because I bring it hardcore, and I expect that person to do the same.

This is when u know a team is struggling....when the fans themselves turn on one another....

Kobe is not being treated unfairly...He gets criticized because he's a superstar...they get the glory, they get the blame...that's just the nature of the whole thing....

As far as Kobe trying to prove a point....its all speculation....we'll probably never know...

but the fact remains that he has not been performing at his usual high level...for whatever reason that may be, I have no idea...however, i'm still confident that he will perform in the playoffs (as Q-rich mentioned earlier in this thread).

why do i never hear Tmac fans criticizing him for his 19 win season? maybe because they know how great he is, and that he has done a lot for that team and instead of his fans putting his name to sh*t like most of you do, they rally behind him and say hey screw it, we love tmac, we know how good he is, maybe next season. I dont hear vince carter fans crying wolf for his sub par season. But you damn spoiled laker fans always have something negative to say about kobe

PLEASE, SAY SOMETHING NEGATIVE ABOUT SHAQS WORK ETHIC, you know, getting surgery late last summer to hurt the teams chances of winning another title. Please, talk about his bickering and crying and moaning, maybe shaq is the problem. Maybe because our bench sucks, and since shaq is sucking all of the CAP, we cant afford a good bench. And shaq asks for more money? why so we could have a lazy fat 35 year old shaq missing half the season like he always does? give me a break.

I don't remember T-Mac ever passing the ball away from himself just because someone called him selfish or a ballhog... although he has probably never been called neither of those in the first place. He doesn't have the talent around himself like Kobe does, and he has to shoot. It's a totally different situation and ofcourse no one would question his shooting because he is all Orlando has. Pretty bad comparison...

Trying to put the focus on Shaq and take it away from Kobe now? You definitely like Kobe alot as we can tell, but do you really care for the Lakers? I don't even like Shaq much, but even I wouldn't try to blame him for anything this late in the season, although most of what you said is true. This thread was started to talk about KOBE, stay on topic [IMG]

pshh if you read my earlier posts, i stated that message boards, news coverage, and stupid commentators stir things up. So instead of jumping to conclusions and JUDGING THE MAN, understand the situation first. Sheesh man no one reads my threads. ITS EVERYWHERE

yes he doesnt have the talent, but he has better talent aside from shaq/malone/payton, then we do.

with tmac out, juwan howard scored in double figures everyday, even scoring 38. Tyronn Lue was averaging double figures, as was drew gooden, and double figure rebounding. So they have a decent team for a horrible team. LOL sounds weird, but try to analyze that for a second.
