From the above article <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Cavs especially benefited from the defense of guard Kevin Ollie in the second half. Silas, on a hunch, decided to replace forward Ira Newble with Ollie to defend Michael Redd. Ollie held Redd, who averages 21 points per game, to three points in the second half. "Putting K.O. [Ollie] in at the two-spot to guard Michael Redd was a big key," Silas said. "You just find out about guys as things go. It does not happen overnight, but we're finding out about a lot of guys." </div> Maybe Kevin Ollie may get some respect. He has soime of the basketball fundamentals that many of our squad lack. He does lack that shooters touch, but there is a role for him.
it's funny how this offseason we have the problem of too many pgs: mcinnis will be back without a doubt, ollie's got his contract, wagner's going to work at learning the position, and i think cleaves will be given a close look and strong consideration as well as opposed to just a few games ago, when we had the problem of too few pgs and were really stretching things just to get by and make things work it'll be interesting to see how this works out over the offseason into the beginning of next year
Not sure whare this fitted, so I put it here! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Cavaliers happy to picture the future By Brian Windhorst, Beacon Journal staff writer CLEVELAND - Just about the whole of the Cavaliers/Gund Arena Co. posed for a season-ending picture at center court at Gund Arena on Tuesday morning. In recent years, the smiles for the camera on this day were mostly forced, unless they were motivated by the merciful end to a dismal season. But the mood was light and upbeat this time around and nobody had to say "cheese" to make it look good. "If you'd asked any of us at the beginning of the year if we'd double our win total, not many of us would've bet on it," said Cavaliers owner Gordon Gund, who was in town for the photo and exit meetings with his players. "The progress over the year has been terrific." </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=knig...night&type=lgns
