I want GP and Malone to win rings...but I have to weigh that with the fact that they play for the Lakers. I'd say TWolves vs. Pistons in the finals would be the best outcome for me...but if the Lakers make it i'll be happy for two hall of famers to get the rings they deserve.
The finals will pit the Sacramento Kings VS Indiana Pacers I would have said lakers and pacers if the seeds were a bit different, but the spurs in my mind are the only team that can beat the lakers in a series and they meet the second round. Kings will and Wolves lucked out and Kings triumph over the Wolves and Spurs. As much as I hate the lakers i wouldn't mind them winning just like shard said, malone and gp get a ring. kings are awesome, is it their year? (probably not..)
I'm hoping and thinking it'll be the Wolves and Spurs for the West, and the Nets and Pacers. From there I'll be thinking Wolves and Pacers.
Nba Finals 2004 who do u think will meet in the finals? i don't know about everyone else but i don't think the t'wolves have a chance because they lack experience and force off the bench. i think that the lakers have the biggest chance to be the western conference champs and if not them then the spurs. in the east well i think it's quite simple, detroit, detroit and detroit maybe it's just me but i think that they just might go all the way this year... tell me what u think guys?
I think that it will be Kings out of the West and the Pacers out of the East. The Kings will win it all because since the Lakers play the defending champions, the Spurs, the Spurs can win that and go to the conference finals. Also, the Kings have a great change against the T'Wolves, who had a difficult time against the Nuggets. And since the West is mostly offense, the Kings have the upright against the Spurs. The Pacers will represent the East because the East is so easy to win over. Since the Nets will most likely play the Pistons, the Nets have a better chance because they have experience. Also, the Pacers will win the winner of the Heat/Hornets series because they have a difficult time with each other. Also, in the conference finals, the Nets and Pacers will be a very good matchup. Since the Pacers have the better up hand, the Pacers will take it away in 6 or possibly 7 games. They certainly aren't qucker, but they have better defense and power, with more fundamentals, not like the Nets, who have a fast break every other play. In the finals, it will be a easy match for the Kings, and see them take it away in 5 games. That is my prediction of the NBA Playoffs and Finals.
please mention who would win in the finals, not just who would get there. i'd like to know what u think
After the first round and the regualar season, I have nothing to say but LAkers Vs. PAcers. Threads merged by Dre

Quoting PrimeTime:

Lakers and Pistons just like the ol' days!!
Same here.
I believe Minnesota and Detroit will be in the playoffs. I think Detroit and Indiana is almost exactly even. But I think Detroit will edge out Indiana in seven games. Lakers are gonna choke if they challenge the Wolves because Minnesota has nothing to worry about now since the monkey is finally off their back (Getting past the first round). Then Minnesota would take Detroit in six games. That's my predictions.

After the first round I'm still sticking with my pick, Spurs/Pacers NBA Finals match up with Spurs winning in 6.
