Well, he is not any more listed in the NBA statistics, he obviously missed too many games (is 15 really to many?). Instead is Peja and KG now on top of the list with both having 24.2 ppg. What do you guys think?

He isn't in the PPG category listed. And the only way he isn't listed their is that he didn't have the minimum games or whatever to qualify for the category.

I just checked and the minimum would be (according to http://www.nba.com/leader_requirements.html) 70 games or 1400 points. But he has more than 1400 points (but only played 67 games) and he isn't up there. I don't understand this...

    Edit:

I just checked again, well he still isn't in the PPG category but Kobe (65 games) and Baron Davis (67 games) are in this Category, I really don't understand? [IMG]

They just want to take something else away from the Magic.

I was looking at the same one and believe me or not when I wrote this post he wasn't up there! No reason for such kind of a post from you!

The reason why I came up with that is an article from today on a German internetpage about the Dallas Mavericks game yesterday and the upcoming playoffs. And there they mention Peja and KG as scoring champs because Dallas has to play the Kings in the playoffs. Well, I was kinda shocked and looked it also up and T-Mac wasn't listed.

Again, there was no need to post the fact that he is listed again in such a way. Is it my fault that the NBA did a mistake (or whatever) and I discovered it and now they have fixed it again? Or do you have a problem with me, then tell it straight forward or just ignore me in the future.

Calm down people. T-Mac got the scoring title. I believe he was averaging 28 Points. Anyways he was Number 1 in the League in Scoring. In order for Peja to get the title he would have to average 54.3 Points.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Though he'll miss the last seven regular-season games, McGrady will clinch his second straight scoring title. To qualify, a scorer must play in at least 70 games or score 1,400 points. McGrady has appeared in 67 games but has 1,878 points. His 28.0 average, however, will be the lowest of a scoring champion since the Philadelphia 76ers' Allen Iverson averaged 26.8 points in winning the 1998-99 title.

With Iverson also done for season, the leading scorer still playing is the Sacramento Kings guard Peja Stojakovic at 24.7 going into Wednesday. Stojakovic would have to average 54.3 points in his last nine games to overtake McGrady -- a near impossibility given his average this season.</div>

    Thanks Sergio for confirming.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting I3:</div><div class="quote_post">In order for Peja to get the title he would have to average 54.3 Points.</div>

Even if Peja averaged more than 54.3 points per game in the playoffs he wouldn't get the title because the regular season is over and the scoring title is a regular season title.

Having cleared this, I think this thread can be closed now...

Is because webmasters at NBA.com edit the site during night times (in the U.S) meaning during normal hours in Europe.
