Yepee Slava! I seen him play good during one point of the season, but that was a while ago and he has been struggling since. I hope Malone does play even with injury. Because Slava just can't get outta his funk and I only seen him hit 1 jumper outta the 25 he took.
Slava was playing great the first couple weeks when he came back from that injury. Since then, he has quickly slipped back to mediocrity and stayed there ever since

This is very good news for all of us Lakers fans. But since Malone's body is so fragile and delicate to easily have another injury, Phil might give him let's say 25-30 minutes? Phil doesn't want to risk another crisis from him again. So I look for Malone to start, but Slava should get most of the minutes. What Slava has to do is contribute in the rebounding categories, rather than shooting wild, ridiculous shots. I admire his courage to not be like Mark Madsen and shy away from shooting, but if the shot's not going on, stop shooting. Also, his hands are horrible with the basketball...something that really concerns me going into the playoffs.
Good news, but I wish it was still the regular season in a way so we could rest Malone more. Getting off to a good start is so important in building momentum during the playoffs.
