celtics.. champions or not

    do the celtics stand any chance against the west team that comes in da finals?

    Against the West, on paper, INDY and Detroit are the only teams that can match up against the West teams.

    If the Celtics get to the finals, I believe that they have a chance (albeit a very small one) ONLY because some major stuff would have had to happen for them to get there in the first place.

    Celtics in the finals? Thats a good one. I don't want to disparage Celtics fans but the chances of that happening in the first place are 1,000,000 to one. The chances of winning that final: 1,000,000,000 to one. But stranger things have happened.

    i dont see Boston making the Finals at all...they'll lose to Indy in 5, if not 4...and the only East teams to have a shot against the West are Indy, Detroit and NY, who I think is a sleeper in the playoffs...

    Again, I wasn't saying that I thought that Boston was going to make the Finals. I simply answered the question: Do I think they have a chance in the Finals? IF they find a way to make it that far, by default, you have to giv e them a chance, IMO.

    Probably because the Pacers are playing a series against the C's.

    Still, it doesn't make sense in my opinion... It's like laughing with Indy fans : 'When we beat you guys , we're on a roll to make the finals' [​IMG] kinda good

    The threads creator claims to be a Pacers, not a Celtics fan. I don't think it was created to make light of anything.

    The thread was created 2 days ago, so if the mods felt it wasn't appropriate, I'm sure it would have been moved by now. However, as with all threads, you're free to ignore it if you don't like it's contents.
