Well, most people who lost a battle/argument etc tend to fall into a temporary state of delusion. I think that's your case bro. [IMG]

So now you're quick to call me dellusional. Real smart. [IMG]

I gave you facts to why your team is going to lose the series, all you wanted is respect. I gave you respect. So how is that owning someone?

The Lakers got lucky no doubt. Walton was obviously being facetious about the Kobe "pass."

Shaq, if there was anything good about his free throws was at least he was getting some arc.

As for the Rockets, do you want your game to come down to a seven time free agent who was signed for the veteran minimum? Jackson is okay, a legitimate NBA player, but he's hardly a great shooter. The key was not to let Francis beat you on the drive and the Lakers shut it down.

If Kobe lets Mobley shut him down again, that will truly show me something about Mobley. Oh yeah, 14 TOs from Francis/Mobley, definitely one of the best backcourts in the NBA....Dreadful. How is it that Yao only has 120 assists for the year? Because he never sees the ball.

I think the Rockets got what they wanted, Jackson was WIDE open and they got the look they wanted. It just didn't fall.

Yeah, and it's not like Jackson has never made that shot before in a clutch situation.

The Lakers were lucky in this game, because Jim Jackson had a great look at the game winning 3 point shot. The only bright spot I saw in this game, was this was the only game with any excitement on Saturday. Every other playoff game was a blow out for the home team. The Rockets didn't play good defense at all in this game. The Lakers had plenty of open looks, but their shots simply were not falling. You have to give a lot of credit to the Rockets for keeping the game close, and giving themselves a chance to win their first playoff game in 5 years. However, if I am a Rocket fan I have to worry at the fact, the Lakers played horribly and we still lost the game. I don't think you are going to see another 3-14, 4-19, and 4-10 shooting in the same night from Malone, Kobe, and Payton.

After the first quarter of play, the Lakers lead 23-22. Yao got Shaq in foul trouble and he had to sit most of the first. Kobe started off strong but cooled off. Good game so far.

    ------------------------------------------------

The Rockets close out the quarter on a 16-6 run and take a 2 point lead into the break 46-44.

The Rockets confidence has to be high after being down by 8 and regaining the lead. Looks like we got ourselves a game.

The Lakers are eating Soup with a Spoon[IMG]

This is a good game with the Lakers up by two. Lots of lead changes.

Kobe just made an amazing hoop and brought some energy back to the Lakers. Yao is getting tired with the pace of this game.

The Rockets are in danger of letting this game get out of reach. Lets see if they can counter.

Francis answers with a HUGE 3.

Hahaha, my bad. Shouldn't this discussion be in the Game 2 thread though?

Stupid foul by Cuttino btw. Kobe makes all 3 fts and the Lakers take a 10 pt lead.
