What was the moment of the NBA year for you? Was it the Debut of the King, Melo leading his team to the playoffs, AI complaining about not coming off the bench, Watching the Grizzlies suprise people all year or Kobe's last night of the regular season? Mine was Kobe's last night of the regular season, that was Reggie Miller-like Clutch.
Well, it'd have to be the Milwaukee Bucks exceeding everyone's expectations. They were expected to finish with the worst record in the league, but they ended up making the play-offs. Sure, they blew their 4th seed, but to make the playoffs with one of the least talented rosters in the league, that's impressive. The same can be said about the Griz also.
I'm saying LeBron score 41 points and 13 assist against Nets, where Cavs won because he scored the last 10 points. And Boozer's back-to-back 32 points against Utah Jazz and Seattle Supersonics, and in those games he also pulled down 20 and 18 rebounds. Both games they won without LeBron.
I think LeBron's first game was my moment of the year-to play that well in your first game as a rookie against a Western Conference powerhouse is just incredible...
moments throughout the year kobes shot. yao fouling out shaq. fortsons thugery in his mauling of zarko shattering zarkos wrist.
Mine was when Kobe Bryant came from Colorado from his court case and scored the winning, buzzer beater shot against the Nuggets.
Marbury's first game in the garden and the knicks making the playoffs proving that scott layden was really the reason they had missed the playoffs those 2 years anyway marbury's home coming really brought back energy to the garden and it will be an intresting subway series the knicks vs the nets cant wait till game one I see the knicks winning in 7 games
the other nite when kobe won the game, t-mac's 50point average ovcer two games, and nash's 20p-20a game against the kings.
Kings taking the last game against the Lakers, and rounding up the regular season series at 3-1. That was hot.
Detroit holding all those teams under 70. That's the only time where defense was that fun watching for me.
Lakers destroying Kings in one game Kings destroying Lakers in the other (Kobe's "selfish" passing) Kobe calling Shaq "overweight and lazy" (or somethin along those lines lmao) Starbury trade to NY VC's 43 points against AT along with CLUTCH 360 layup/block Tmac dropping 62 on the lowly Wiz Miami finishing 4th, better then ppl had expected.. Utah actually contending for a playoff spot in the WEST wheras every1 expected them to be last in the league without Karl and John... The Lakers 18-3 start Lebron James' sensational rookie year/start and drapping 25 points in his first NBA game after having a preseason that left people skeptic... Carmelo makin Detriot wonder "what the hell were we thinking drafting an unproven 17 year old instead of a NCAA champion" with an amazing rookie year....
Kobe Bryan'ts game winner against the Nuggets coming back from court Kobe's shots of their last game. McGrady losing to the Lakers in OT T-mac scoring 62 T-mac and LeBron on Xmas day There are way more I just cant remember.
