Dwight Howard will be one of the greatest high school players to come straight to the NBA, I think he will follow in LeBron's footsteps and exceed all expectations. Dwight Howard will be the 2nd if not 1st overall pick this year in the draft, Him and Josh Smith will be 2 of the few players to be successfull out of high school.

Josh Smith will take time to develop, he is supposed to be pretty raw.

shaun livingston, if he enters the draft will probably have a decent effect on the nba, but he might not enter.

Shaun Livingston is a great high school player just like Sebastian Telfair but both need college in order to succeed in the NBA. There raw Bassy need's to develop a jumper while Livingston needs to bulk up, but Dwight Howard is 6'10" and 240lbs in my opinion he is NBA ready, mature, talented, and big is what a player needs to make the transition from High School to NBA.

Dwight Howard has always been one of my favorites, what surprises me is how humble he is, although I think he prefers going big just like Hakkim Warrick does. I think out of the highschoolers, as the rank states, he's the best of them, Telfair is good no doubt and he'll probably do as well as Boykins and Claxton, hopefully no TJ Ford or Juan Dixon seasons for him if he gets drafted. As far as Dwight is concerned, I think the experience would be good for him, being in college that is.

Dwight Howard is overrated. I have seen him a bunch of times. He is not even close to LeBron. Just because he is the best high school player, doesn't mean he is NBA ready. Physically, he may be ready. But his game is not where it should be to play in the NBA.

howard isnt overrated, he has barely had any exposure, plus lebron is a pg how can you compare them. It is good that telfair is going to college first he'll mature more.

Now in days being the No.1 ranked senior in the nation automaticaly puts you in the draft. I would like Howard to be more like Amare inmediate results , not like some seniors that came out in the 2001 draft.

First, he is going to Duke.

How do you know he isn't go pro? Right now, he will be a top 5 pick if he declares. How many kids are going to turn that down?
