http://www.canoe.ca/NewsStand/TorontoSun/S.../20/429095.html Del Harris has not denied that he is interested in the position, but just wondered everyone's thoughts. He definitely is established in the NBA and has an extensive amount of NBA knowledge. Could be a great addition. The problem is, how much power with MLSE give the GM to do his job. I can't see anyone wanting to take the job if Peddie is going to have the final say on all personel decisions.
wow, that would be a great addition imo. id love to see that happen. im sure peddie is going to give our new gm all the control he wants. name one gm who wouldnt want control and name one gm who would take the job without complete control. its an ego thing as much as a desire thing. peddie knows jack about ball and isnt that big an idiot to screw this one up. its a good move...id like to see it happen
He's a very respected person around the league, however, I don't think Mark Cuban will allow him to be interviewed by Mclauskey untill the playoffs are over. How about Magic Johnson, he works for the Lakers now but I don't think he'd deny this opportunity, plus he's a Hall Of Fame point guard, and he might be as good of a GM as Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars.
dell harris denied interest coming to toronto. same as john hammond from detriot. personally, i dont know much about GMs so i cant really say who would be good or not lol
