Well, there is three out of five slots automatically filled in when you think about the Spurs past, but the remaining two spots are pretty much up for grabs. I'll adjust the popular G-G-F-F-C format to add in a player who well deserves it:

G - Avery Johnson (Wow, I'll explain later)
G - Sean Elliot (I know he didn't play SG, but read above)
    F - George "Iceman" Gervin
    F - Tim Duncan
    C - David Robinson

Johnny Moore has his jersey retired (#00), but I looked at his career stats compared to Avery's career stats as a Spur, and they are pretty similar, but of course, Avery's 1 championship makes the difference. Of course, Avery Johnson is just keeping the seat warm for Tony Parker, but he's there for now. I'm not really knocking Avery Johnson by saying this, but with him as one of our best PG's in our franchise history, it goes to show how much we've lacked a top-tier PG for the last couple of decades.

You could make a case for James Silas as the best PG in our franchise's history, but he didn't win a championship, and his stats aren't so amazing that he is automatic on this list.

So, who's your All-Time Spurs team? 3 members are give-me's, and probably even a 4th one, but maybe yours will differ.

I'm not too familiar with the Spurs original roster with the exceptions of Artis Gilmore, Iceman, Elliot and I guess for a period of time, Rodman. However I'll simply list people the team has or had that I would keep for a completed roster and why.

    In no particular order.

Duncan and The Admiral, no need to be said.
Malik Rose, awesome heart and effort, and pretty good.
Ginobili, hardworker, great on both ends, could be the difference between winning and losing, clutch at times.
Parker- Regardless of how he use to be, he's really matured as a player and I'd keep him for sure. He can improve and is already competent in a lot of skills in the game.
Gilmore- If he played like when he was in the ABA or as a Sixer, he'd kill, but he'd be second to The Admiral.
Bowen- Every team needs a good, annoying defender.
    Turgokolu- He's useful.
Iceman- Much like Duncan and The Admiral, no questions asked.
Sean Elliot- A natural born scorer. Great personality too.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DajuanWagner#2:</div><div class="quote_post">Wasn't Steve Keer anything for this team?</div>He came in here when his career was about done to add some leadership and shooting. His best years were obviously with the Bulls.
