..the championship this year.. and Cassell keep playing (and shooting) the way he is in game one. Do you think it's possible he could win finals MVP over Garnett? I'm being serious, I thinkg he's been the missing piece for this team, everyone's been praising him all year. Not to take anything away from Garnett, how can you not love the guy, he's easily MVP of the regular season.

Sometimes it seems like the "name" player on the team always gets considered for whatever awards they are giving away. But in this instance, I believe KG will deserve it because they've already established what happens when he's not on the floor. Cassell hits shot, but that's usually because KG can set him up for success. Believe me, just being set up doesn't mean you hit the shot, but it certainly needs to be acknowledged. Also, MVP is also about leadership and attitude. Also, I don't think KG will care because he's a true team player. We got the ring, WE GOT IT. Remember the SI cover situation. But to answer the question when ppl like Peja get considered because he can score, it may not be a long-shot. Just not in my opinion.
They all are, if it were to be between anybody, it would definitely be between all 3 of them. Remember what people said? When KG was alone and if he got them past the First Round, Duncan might've not been the Season. As for these finals, he has the numbers to prove it yeah, but also the qualities that make him the best. He's just really efficient, as is Cassell, he's always been this good, it's just that he's on a great team. They're all putting out his efforts, Cassell is thankful, but imagine putting them up against each other, I think, no I know, KG would win. They're buds, Cassell's trip to the ASG is already thanks and MVP enough for him. He does what he does, but KG, well he's KG.
KG would get it over Cassell even if Cassell plays better. It would be because Garnett has been there his whole career and has stayed through thick and thin with the club. And he has been putting up insane numbers which feels like forever. Garnett will average at least 20 and 15 in the playoffs anyway.
First of all, the Wolves have to get there. Then Cassell is gonna have to average like 20 ppg and 5 apg just to be considered for Finals MVP.. More like 25 and 5 because KG is gonna average 20-25 ppg and 10-15 rebounds against the east opponents if they get there...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think either would care if they just won the NBA Finals.</div> That's what I think too. KG and Cassell would alreay be very happy if they win a ring this year. But if the Twolves win in the finals and I hope they do, I think KG will get the Finals MVP and he deserves. He is the leader of the team and I think Sam is playing so well is because of KG. He makes him play better. I think a big reason for why Sam had a career season this year is because of KG. But what is important for them is a championship.
Heck I think they will be happy just getting past the first round for once! Just kiddin ya'll! The Wolves are gonna go far...
