This should be a very entertaining series as two of the most explosive offenses will colide in the first round. This series could go either way and I think it will go 6-7 games depending on which team goes cold first. I think the Kings have the edge on Defense and that will be the deciding factor. Kings in 7
Kings have guys who can play defense well but don't do it on a consistant basics. They are just like the Lakers, who also play no defense but they have some players who can play it well.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">^ Kings don't play defense at all. Mavericks in 6.</div> They played Kobe pretty good a few days ago so I wouldnt say that.I think this will be a close series but the Mavs are the ones who play no D and they've been labeled like that for a long time, and they have still not proved this label wrong.

With Webber not being 100%, and with his inconsistency as of late, the Kings will fall to Dallas in 6, and Adelman would've wished he started Miller and kept Webber on the bench.
Doug Christie can defend well, and if he can contain Michael Finley's production, it'll be vital to win the series. Nash/Nowitzki and Stojakovic/Bibby cancel each other out. Webber, if at 100%, will be better than Walker. But Mavs have a stronger bench, so Mavs in 7.

The Mavs goal is to out score their opponet because they will not get defensive stops. Like AllNet said, the Lakers have a crappy defense as well. They are not consistent just like these Kings.
Kings will just try to outscore Dallas which they can't, Dallas has killed the kings this season. Dallas in 6

I'll be doing essay outlines during the game. *rolls eyes*.....

Just as expected, this is a shoot out. No defense whatsoever. The kings are playing right into the hands of the Mavs. The Kings need to slow this game down and pound the ball inside where the Mavs have had no answer. I would also go to a zone defense if I'm the Kings. Vlade, Webber, and Miller could all be more effective. Dirk is eating them up alive as he should be. It will be interesting to see what kind of adjustment Adelman makes at the half.
The Kings brought their A game in the fourth quarter and put this team away. The differences in these two teams were very evident today, the Kings could get some defensive stops when they matter most and that led to some easy baskets and ultimately the game. Good start to a great series.
Tha Kings is goin all tha way this year. Kings over Mavs in 5 Kings over T-Wolves in 7 Kings over Lakers in 6 Kings over Pistons in 5 ================ Kings 03-04 Champs
The way I see it, the Kings will get past the Mavs in 6, possibly seven. Than I'm picking the upset with the Kings over the Wolves. But no way the Kings get past the Spurs who I see as repeat champions.
