<div class="quote_poster">Quoting intrepid1983:</div><div class="quote_post">Yea when Voshon was playing with us i was thinkin he was our Vince carter when Vince was out, but man, having Vince and Voshon together would have been great</div>

Wow, those're big shoes to feel, but when times were bad he is very reliable. His offense is uncanny and he works extremely hard. He deserves to be on any team, as a starter? Maybe. As backup and a clutch reason to keep playing him. Definitely.

Sorry but this is a pointless post. Why don't we just make posts like, remember when we had T-mac, remember when we had Camby, remember when we had Damon, remember when we had Doug Christie, etc....

People players move on in their careers for various reasons. Players are usually happy with moves. Trust me if they weren't you would hear about. Did anyone hear Voshon complain about moving on to Denver. I'm sure he's pretty happy about it now.

Plus you can't look at how a player plays on a completely different team and think he would do the same for your team. It's all about how the team chemistry is, the players role on that team, the offensive sets, the teams style of play, etc....

There's alot more involved than just thinking a players numbers are transferrable from team to team.

KO would have played him trust me, he's not stupid. I would have also given Lamond murray another chance. I've seen him play (im sure we all have), his only weakness is his defence, but he isn't BAD. Offensively hes great. Moiso should have also been played more. Anyone remember the game vs Clippers? Voshon just went on fire.

his defense has always been abd and his shot was very off that the beginning of the season. therefore he didnt get a chance to play. had his shot been more accurate i think he would have played more.

True. I think Voshon's like one of those rare selfmade man with no talent as near as Mac, Kobe or Bron... he built himself, he worked hard for it, period. And he's doin incredible with Nuggets, big props!

well, he has talent such as shooting and lateral quickness (in his prime). he just doesnt have anything really special that stands out such as hops or speed. hes just a tough hard noed player that plays smart basketball.

^ Voshon did play and came off them bench when Carter was healthy for over half the season. Voshon took alot of bad shots. They were Carter's shots too. I was kinda glad he was gone.

yeah but every player makes mistakes like that...toronto would have won way less games without lenard. he was more of an asset than a liability overall.

I kinda felt the same way, I was frustrated at his shot selection, he constantly throughout the course of a game threw up bad shots.

He's playing well in Denver now and thats cool, but I wasn't happy when he was a Raptor.

yeah he on occasion threw up bad shots but he still made a lot of them. if u r complaining about his poor shot selection then u must not be a big fan of jalen rose either bcuz rose has the worst shot selection in raptors history.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting intrepid1983:</div><div class="quote_post">Do you guys remember when we had Voshon Lenard? I cant believe we didnt resign him, he would have been really cheap, Denver took him a bit later on. He is a really great player, and didnt get resigned, I guess you could credit Grunwald OR Peddie for that. THe years before in the offseason, was K.Clark, Del Curry (ppl forget he was the one that hit the clutch 3 in the raps vs sixers playoff game to give Carter the opportunity for the win)., possibly MoPete soon. Voshon would have been so cheap to get too, thats what bothers me, now hes captain of the Nuggets and such a high scoring total and 3 point champion over Stojakovic.. can you imagine if we still had him?</div>
I don't really think you have a valid point. Sure it would be nice to have Vashon, but hindsight is always 20/20. I don't know why you mention Keon Clarke, alot of raptor fans were ready to break the bank, willing to give alot of money up because Keon showed alot of potential, being the best player we had off the bench. I think you would agree it was a blessing in disguise that we didn't resign him, because he hasen't done much since, although he did have some injurie problems. Del Curry was a nice guy, and a good 3 point shooter, but his defense stunk and we don't need any more guards. Plus, Keon Clarke turned out to be another Tracy Murry, thank god we couldn't afford to keep him when he got the big bucks, Washington took that disaster.
There are alot of names, Arroyo, Leonard, Alstin, but I wouldn't blame GG for all that, because Arroyo and Alstin didn't get minutes from the coaches at the time. STUPID LENNY WILKINS. I'm hoping we can steal a decent guard in the draft, maybe Ben Gordon, and maybe sign a good free agent that slips through the cracks. I mean it has happened against us with Arroyo and Rafer.
    THERES ALWAYS HOPE.

Voshon didn't and still can't play defence....he was basically instant offence of the bench, our replacement for Dell Curry but not much else

i still wanted him to stay tho...he's a good bench player, just not a starter

Voshon Lenard? What is he a center or something? and whats basketball

actually hes averaging around the same as he did with the raptors. Your acting like curry hitting 3s, voshon on the raps was decaded ago.

i remeber when voshon was with the raps, he thought he was like carter but he was a ball hogg just like antwan walker. i have to admit he won the 3 pointer shoot out and that he is a great player and all buthe just didnt pass enough and usually took shots as if he wer carter. i also have to admit that toronto would be better off if we kept voshon<font color="DarkOrange">voshon is not that good but i guess hes ok</font>
