Why are you laker fans getting ahead of yourselves...??....Ok so you beat the young inexperiecned PPOOO playoff team rockets two games..TWO....And the series isnt even over.....you havent forgot about the kings...'sota....SPURSSS?....Pacers..Detroit?...All teams that stand a better chance of beating you then you do them...???
I, personally, think there is only one team in each conference capable of beating the Lakers. Those teams are the Timberwolves and Indiana. The Timberwolves, I think them due to the fact that they have a LOAD of firepower on that team. Plus, Garnett is actually one of the only people that might be able to guard Shaq man to man. The only others that can do that are probably Ben Wallace, Jermaine O' Neal, and Tim Duncan. Than, I think the Pacers can get them because, once again, Jermaine O' Neal might be capable of guarding Shaq man to man. Plus, Artest would be the main factor in that series. If he can shut down Kobe, they could very easily win. But, than again, he needs to produce on the other end also. He has to be consistent in both or else they'll still have problems. So, in my mind, he IS the X-Factor of that possible series. But, either way, I still think the Lakers will win it all. They have more experience in the playoffs than any other team in the playoffs. They also know what it takes to win in the Playoffs. That's why they've won 3 of the last 4.

The Spurs have not only won 14 games in a row, but they are the defending champions and the best defensive team in the West. The spurs have a guy that could cause Kobe A LOT of fits as seen in the past. This team is rolling and are only getting better. Amazing you don't even see them as a threat to beat LA. I guess they will just have to prove it again. Lets wait for the Wolves to win a series first before we start talking about them in the Finals.

The media overlooks them because they are considered 'boring.' Maybe it's because they don't have off court issues and friction between players. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The spurs have a guy that could cause Kobe A LOT of fits as seen in the past.</div> People tend to forget about Bruce Bowen, or maybe they don't know who he is. Moo2K, you completely overlooked a round. LA still has to finish off the Rockets, and face another tough opponent next round. Keep in mind the Spurs have beaten them once, and they can do it again. The Eastern Conference will still struggle to compete in the finals against any Western Conference team. Theres only two teams to even consider, and that would be the Pistons and Pacers.
