On a local radio station Andre Dantzler of USA today, announced that the team was announced. Why is this the same as last year
T-Mac and Kobe shouldnt be on it.

Kobe Bryant
Tracy McGrady
Kevin Garnett
Tim Duncan
Shaquille O'Neal

Damn, everything is being leaked early this season.. Though that was not the All-NBA team I expected to see, I'm happy with it. Can't go wrong with those 5 guys.

Kobe bryant - brilliant all year for the lakers even though he has had problems throughout the year.

Tracy mcgrady - Great Player on a horrible team, that pretty much about explainsit.

Kevin Garnett - Best player in he league today and is the locked MVP

Tim Duncan - Once again he has played like a top 5 player in the league

Shaquille O'Neal - The most dominating center and player in the league.

i believe they all deserved those all nba teams and congratualtions to them.

McGrady should not be in it. They should insert Peja or someone else for the SF.

No, they need a PG like J-Kidd or Starbury! KB is SG, and KG is SF.

Garnett has played PF all year long, so he is really a PF, but they can stretch what position they are just to make it so that everyone who deserved to make the team does.

It dissapoints me to see that Stojakovic did not make the All-NBA team. He shoulda made it over McGrady.

Gotta agree that Peja deserves to be in there. Also, like you guys said, no PG? You sure this was a correct leak?

I believe they do the All NBA team using this format: G-G-F-F-C

I may be wrong.

This is what saddens me about the NBA, In no way will does T-mac deserve to be all-nba 1st this season. It seems like this is another name recognition award given out by the NBA. When your team played as horrible as the Magic did in no way should you be rewarded with such an honor. I dont care how good your stats were, 1st team should be an award given to those who have led their teams to victories. All-star teams are for those who are popular or had great stats. Once again the NBA finds away to promote losing imo.

Sam Cassell, Jason Kidd, Steph Marbury, Micheal Redd all deserve that guard spot over Mcgrady in my opinion. They have had impact on the wins column for their teams. The NBA could have even moved Peja to a guard & that would have been justified.

If thats actually the all NBA first team then thats sad, once again the NBA going for superstars and not guys who really made the difference in their team's seasons. Duncan and KG are good selections but the Mcgrady and Shaq?

Sam Cassell should be on that list, so should Jermaine O'Neal If they are going on two guards and 3 big men rule.

I'm pretty sure its supposed to be:

First Team:
G - Jason Kidd
G - Kobe Bryant
F - Kevin Garnett
F - Tim Duncan
C - Shaquille O'neal

Second Team
G - Baron Davis
G - Tracy McGrady
F - Peja Stojakovic
F - Jermaine O'neal
C - Ben Wallace

Third Team
G - Sam Cassell
G - Paul Pierce
F - Ron Artest
F - Dirk Nowitzki
C - Yao Ming

Who should be the first team C over Shaq, Big Ben?, Yao?, or they could ahve voted JO as a C and he'd be it.

Sam Cassell should be all NBA IMO. Shaq pretty much wins the center spot by default, but I think they should go easy on that and put JO in that. Peja is just unlucky he's played SF all year.

They could have gave Duncan votes at the center spot. Then give KG votes at the Power Forward which he has played all season. And that would have opened up the other forward spot for Peja.

I hope Sam can sneak on that 2nd team. But I doubt it. Davis had 2 great months of the season early, but what did he do after that?

And where's Marbury, he did alot in NY this season without his 2nd best player being there for the most part. And going thru all those trades which include Van Horn who was playing well for the Knicks. Marbury kept the knicks in the playoff race imo.

I think you're right, I remember an All-NBA team having 2 SG in the past so I think that's the case again. I don't think it matters if you are a PG or SG on this. Though some say KG is a SF or has played SF, he's been a PF throughout this season and that's where he should be. I believe this is the right team, and the one that will be announced tomorrow.

About Shaq, I know he's good, I know he delivers but man has his attitude and performance just keep getting worse? Not to mention he is so damn lazy, I'd rather have Big Ben at center than him. I know he pretty much dominates all centers since he is like the purest of the purest in that position but still. As for TMac, I too don't agree he should be there, too inconsistent nowadays, he's fatlering and getting angry all the time. Him and AI both, only Pierce seems to be the one keeping cool of the loner superstars.

As far as the other choices go, I'm fine with them. I really loved the fact that someone mentioned Michael Redd but I think he'd be in 2nd team at most. Peja, well over McGrady yeah, J'Oneal deserves a spot as well. But there's only five slots.

Last three years Kobe, T-mac , TD and Shaq have made the all NBA team each year. They are the elite four of the league and should automatically get into the All NBA team . Its called RESPECT. I dont wanna hear anyone question SHAQ's spot on the team. He is the 2nd best big man in the league and the best player of our time . Give him his respct.

I agree with everything u said. I also dont want to hear this peja over tmac or jermaine over duncan. Compare the stats of peja and tmac. Tmac is way better, and dont tell me about tmac not leading his team to victories. If peja and tmac switched spots, orlando would be losing more games. Nuff said!

I'm not trying to be biased here but you all seem to forget that McGrady is the NBA's scoring champion. He hustles does what needs to be done and as long as he get's the W you can't go wrong. Am I wrong? If so please somebody tell me why.
