Which Player can end up getting drafted and being that team best player

    Yi Jian Lian, the sixteen years old chinese boy, he is great, many potenital, the next yao ming. He will be the number one pick unless there are another Lebron James.

    um u know taht legally lian cant be drafted righht? and if chicago takes okafor/howard he will be their best player.

    I'm not sure it will happen this year. There isn't an immediate impact player in this draft that is of the caliber of James, Anthony, or even Wade.

    Okafor is the only one that looks close right now, but it would all depend on what team gets him. Chicago is about the only team I can think of where Okafor has the chance to immediately become the best player on the squad.

    Now, I do think you'll see several guys that have about the same impact Hinrich had on the Bulls. Besides Okafor, I think Nelson, Gordon, Deng, and perhaps Biedrins are the guys most likely to make the greatest immediate impact next year.

    I agree, the year of the PG. PG's will make the biggest impact and be the best team players, naturally, it's their job. I'm hoping Telfair will be drafted, I know he's not ready but, so his family can get out of that slump. I see Howard doing just that as well. But like you said, not as much hype or possibility now.

    Whoever the Hawks draft...other than that, I don't think any player in this draft is going to be the team's best player (right away)...

    I think there is a good possibility that whoever the Bobcats take, whether it be Livingston, Howard, Okafor, someone, he could be their best player.
