The Magic have been toying with that idea for years. However, no one thinks it'll work out for reasons stated in the article.
I would love for Hill to be a PG, but there is no way that he will be able to hold up 82 games running the show for the majority of the mins. A half healthy Hill> fully healthy Lue at PG, IMO.
Stupid article. Just because he's playing the point doesn't mean he HAS to guard the opposing PG. Bogan will guard him. Or whomever plays the SF pos. Or T-mac can. That won't be a problem. Plus, Davis and Francis are in the West. We'll only face them twice a year. Big wow! There are about 3 legit PG in the East. The problem is, will Hill's ankle hold up? BTW-That article came from Dime Magazine. Which is basically a hip-hop/hoops bball. No real credibility. Let's get articles from OLY sports writers.

I don't think TMac's going anywhere if Grant Hill shows up, it'll still be difficult to win, but TMac would have better help and a better chance because of the morale and confidence boosts.
I think Lue will end up playing more mins that Hill but still coming off the bench , I love Grant Hill at the PG and crazytown couldn't have said it better , Bogans can defense the best offensive player of our opponent , usually is what has happened same as artest , why did he defend pierce if he is a SF? plus we also got T-Mac.
I don't think it will be that bad, especially when and IF he gets back to full health, hey if Jalen Rose can do it Grant Hill has a shot.Remember, just because you play the point, doesn't mean you have to gaurd the opposing point.
The PG role is too damanding for Grant. He has yet to play for an entire season and now hes going to start playing the most important position? NOT too smart, but Magic mangagement isn't anyways..go figure.
Yeah, OK, so he doesn't have to guard the other teams PG, so what? What's going to happen when he's guarding other small forwards? I guarantee you that his ankle is going to snap like a twig no more than 20 games into the season if he can even get through the preseason and that he'll retire. Grant Hill is the worst thing to happen to Orlando since Shaq leaving. The funny part about the whole thing is that the severity of the injury wasn't that bad to begin with, it was the fact that he played hurt like an idiot that made it such a hard injury to recover from. Anyways, he won't work out at point guard. Keep Lue at the point guard position, he's getting better and he really stepped up at the end of the season this year when T-Mac was injured. But I guess most of the people here didn't even watch those games.
