So who do you think is going all the way? (not who is your favorite, just who do you think is going to win it all). Just curious. I think it'll either be Indiana or the San Antonio. If I had to choose, it'd be the Spurs. cause the way the lakers are playing, the spurs can easily beat them.
The Spurs look good but you can't count out the Wolves. The Wolves almost always come through in clutch situations, and I think they want it the most. I think who ever wins the West will win. Either the Wolves or the Spurs.
spurs, lakers are way too inconsistent but there the only team who have enough experience to battle the spurs. I think it could be a spurs nets final again. I was thinking detroit but not after they lost at home. Tim Duncan is the best boring player ever. Some of the bank shots he did against the knicks in the 99 finals were incredible. He does whatever his team needs, T-Mac should call him and get some advice on that

Lakers. They have all the tools to win and you have to believe that they WILL get it done in crunch time. They did last night and they have all series for the most part. Plus, that team is full of veterans, all of which know their role on that team. They have great bench production, but, inconsistent unfortunately. Plus, they have 4 great players in that starting line up all capable of having a big game.

Spurs. Most of the team have gone all the way before, they're healthy and are on a 15 game winning streak. They're isn't a team playing as well as they are right now, and they are a team who plays better in the palyoffs.

I think the T-Wolves or the Spurs will because nobody in the east is strong enough for the West except for the Pistons;because they have stong font court.But I think whoever reaches the finals in the West should win.
Timberwolves or Spurs, they seem to be the most dominant looking. I'm sad to see that no one is saying the Kings anymore. Must be all Webber's fault. As for the East, it's between the Pacers and the Pistons, I'd love to see the Nets pull it off, and the injuries haven't really done that much to them, but they are not as complete in roster.

Either Indy or SA will win...Lakers look very vulnerable, and the only other team who even remotely has a chance is Minnesota...
I want the Nets to win the chip but I think its going to be the Wolves vs the Spurs in the west finals. And either team will have an advantage over the team that comes out of the east. I think right now the Spurs probably have the edge because of the way Parker & Manu are playing alongside Duncan. It seems like those 2 can penetrate &ake things happen anytime they want. And non of the other teams in the West imo have the perimeter Defense to stop their penetration. I think Gary Payton/Derek Fisher in round 2 is going to have fits trying to stop Parker from getting into the lane. So Parker going to have big offensive games. But Gary Payton is not going to be able to make Parker work on the other end of the court because Payton isnt apart of the Lakers offense. I think the point guard matchup is going to be terrible for the Lakers. So Iam going to give the series edge to the Spurs. Except I dont think that series can go 7 games. The Lakers are not losing a game 7 even on the road. So the Spurs are going to have to win in 6 again this year. So I think it will be the Wolves & Spurs in the West finals. Right now I surprising give the edge to the Spurs. Only because I think the injury to Wally S. will really hurt them against a smart defensive team like the Spurs. The Spurs will more than likely hide Tony Parker on defense. And let him play Trenton Hassell & Fred Hoiberg. But with Wally S. there the Spurs cant hide him on D. Also I think the Wolves will need Kandiman to give some serious minutes & production playing along side KG. And Kandiman just doesnt seem like he really ready to produce in those type of big situations. So the Wolves have 2 big ifs going into a series with the Spurs. So right now I give the edge to the Spurs, hopefully that will change before the West Finals. But Either team would pulll it out against the East.
I think it would be the Spurs. Duncan is going to make Shaq cry again and Kobe will have a hard time against the real Kobe-stopper, Bowen. GP will be too slow to guard the speedy Parker and Fisher's defense sucks.
Is it possible that everyone can underrate the Lakers? I understand why the Spurs and Wolves would be chosen but the Lakers don't have that bad of a team (If they can just get organized.....) 4 Hall of famers should count for something in the playoffs regardless of how they are playing right now. They key for the Lakers to win the series is to somehow contain Tony Parker and Sam Cassell from abusing their point guards. If they can do that then they can win it all.
The funny thing is, The Lakers have two supposed superstars, two future hall of famers and are still the underdog against the Spurs That just proves that Tim Duncan is the best player in the world today,Either that or the Lakers are the most overrated team in NBA history
You can't go wrong with the Lakers, it's just that they have to face the Spurs in the second round. (Given the Lakers knock the Rockets off.)
