the spurs swept the grizzlies! this series was awesome.. Everyone played great. of course duncan is the usual great player. Tony parker and horry has stepped it up! Hopefully our momentum will carry on. Seeing the spurs destroy grizz was great, even though I like the grizz. it's like the 15 game winning streak! that's just awesome... i'm so ready for next round, most likely against lakers...

so anyways, what did u guys think about the first round?

Just an absolutely dominating performance by the defending champions. I hope the Lakers are ready in the second round because they will be facing a team that is on FIRE and is not intiminated by the Lakers.

The Laker are going for the kill this wednesday at staples center then when and if they win, they will need to be ready for the best team in the league, the spurs. Personally the matchup i have been waitng for all season the rematch between champions and the former champions, the only 2 teams to win a championship in half a decade.

I think the Spurs couldn't be playing much better right now. The Grizzlies are good opposition, and the Spurs made it seem like they never had a chance of winning the series and swept them. There is no team the Spurs couldn't play against right now, they are on fire. The whole team is playing well, the veterans are showing the way well and the younger guys are following. The majority of the Spurs have gone all the way before, and they are ready for whoever gets in the way. They are showing no signs of showing down aswell, and it's going to take a very good team to stop them.

They proved that even without The Admiral's talent and leadership that in the Playoffs they're still the defending champions and why. Regardless of losing Speedy Claxton, SJax and Kerr. Popovich has been coaching really well as of late, he's not being as stupid as he usually is.

It's their defense, it's still there and will always be there. Tony Parker hasn't broken out yet but he's playing so well. His speed and offense are amazing, his change in attitude and finally passing have really been beneficial for us as well. Not to mention, Ginobili doing everything with Duncan. Seems Malik Rose is doing his thing again. I'm really glad he's still here. I think they can win it all still. Although I'm hoping either the Timberwolves or the Lakers do so that Spree, KG, The Mailman, The Glove can have championship rings.
