do u ppl think it is realistic for us to get wagner from the cavs w/o trading away vince, jalen, bosh, or marshall? wagner is a player ive always liked although he struggled this year. with the cavs loaded with lebron and mcinnis at the guard spots i think the cavs would be willing to let wagner go....what about alvin for wag? what do u guys think?
^^ thats actually not a bad offer but i dunno about the cap and all that but if it works out then they should go for that trade....though he is inexpeirenced and quite turnover-ish hes still a young player that can blossom at any time and has mad potential....he could be an AI like player....only negative to that is that it means he'll be a shoot first guard, which isn't what we need...plus he owns a inconsisent jumpshot...last year he played excellent early on (i remmeber he had like 30 + games a couple of times in his rookie year) and it will take time for him to fully develop....he would be a good addition but he might look to shoot before anything...
I don't think Cleveland is ready to give up on Wagner yet. He is still in the third year of his 5 year deal and he still has too much promise for Cleveland to give up on.
The Cavaliers wouldnt trade there 6th pick in the 2002 draft for alvin williams. Wagner is a scorer, he gets the job done while alvin brings veteran leadership, shooting ability and Plays gaurd as well which Cleveland doesnt need. Clevelands current gaurds: LBJ, Jeff McInnis, Kevin Ollie, Kedrick brown, Jason Kapono and Dajuan Wagner. Wagner's salary would take up way too much of the raptors cap room. This off season the Raptors already have to let either Vince or Jalen go, i saw it on NBA tv thy said there salarys are too high and they need players better than, Moiso, Strickland, Murray, and the rest of them guys rotting on the bench.
doubtfull...he's injury prone anyways...id like to see if he can finnish a whole season injury free before we make a move for him
I love Wagner and because of that I'll say no I don't want him, lol. He can't play point if that's what you were thinking he would be for us, and he shoots way too much, takes too many bad shots and too many three's. He's very selfish, is a very bad defender and can't even get steals like AI because he's not as quick or as good at picking passing lanes. Silas is trying to teach him how to play point right now and Cleveland might draft a PG, so he could be aquirable but if Silas teaches him well and he learns to be a point then I wouldn't mind him.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting harry_balls5:</div><div class="quote_post">i cant c how u would complain about being injury prone if ur trading him for alvin though....alvin has had so many surguries on his ankle.....</div> because that trade would never happen. never ever ever ever ever happen. the salaries dont match up for one...and juanny is still young and growing.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting AirJordan:</div><div class="quote_post">I like Jeff better. Plus he and Vince would play good together.</div> Why would the cavs trade Jeff away when they are winning 1 out 9 without him. Jeff is doing great things for cavs, maybe Raptors can get him from free agent but i am guess there are many try ot get him, too. I like the Tar Heel connection, too.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">because that trade would never happen. never ever ever ever ever happen. the salaries dont match up for one...and juanny is still young and growing.</div> then y couldnt u have just said this? y did u have to rant on about juanny's injuries? that is totally irrelavant form ur comments now....
