If you could choose: power or jump shot?

Now, if you could choose a center to play alongside Kwame Brown, who wants to stay a Wizard, would it be the kind of power player, who's a major bruiser, or a decent post-up player, with more of a decent mid-range game and can knock down the J consistently (very poor man's Dirk)?

Personally, I'd choose the jumpshooter, just so that Kwame has more room to operate, and be the major point of the low-post game (with Arenas being the focal point of the perimeter). I'd hope Kwame fade back sometimes, because he DOES have a good jumper for a big, but his moves around the basket are just too good not to take advantage of. He should stay inside, and let the center be mainly a complementary rebounder, and still be able to shoot well from the midrange (unlike Haywood, who can only dunk and maybe grace us with a few hook shots every now and then)?

I am pretty sure I'm alone in this standpoint, what with everyone's very high hopes of winning the lottery to land Emeka Okafor, obviously the bruiser type. But the only question with him is the size, because Kwame should be the PF, he's said he's more comfortable there. How would the Wiz match up with a 6'9" center, who's closer to 6'8" than 6'10"? I'm not really concerned with Okafor's recent back problems, just because it's been said to be temporary and won't really pain in him in the long-run.

Anyway, which kind of player would you prefer?

I think we are good with Haywood. He proved that he could play with the big boys this year, EJ just needs more confidence in him. Haywood developed nice moves that he learned from Ewing and utilized them very well.

That is a stretch, Haywood will never be like Shaq or Malone, Kwame will be good, but like Malone or Shaq in his prime his a huge stretch. Etan is always on fire, all he does is dunk the ball, he never looks to pass the ball out of the low post, even when he is being trapped, he throws up the ugliest shot ever. Etan is good for bringing enthusiasm to defense with his blocked shots and rebounds. Haywood could be a fine role player on this team, and Kwame could be the big man you need to win with a PG like Arenas, and a SG like Hughes...this team is loaded with potential, but the question is, Can they turn it into a reality?

P.S. Read the guidelines, cursing is not allowed. We dont want to turn this forum into a junk forum, Im trying to get it active and cursing is not helping, and it is also violating the rules here at JBB.

I agree we are fine with Haywood, I mean don't you just love the potential on the team. Their's a young player at every starting position (excluding Stackhouse), and we also have a high draft pick which means a chance at getting a SF.
If we can get a coach that can make good use of all the talent it would be amazing, also I think we should look into getting Avery Johnson and a good big man as assistant coaches. Avery is already said to be a coach, and with his experience imagine what he could do for Arenas, and a big man coach (Hakeem etc) to work with Kwame, these guys could be the duo of the future.
