<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Laker_Fever_834:</div><div class="quote_post">My fault QRich, it should be 24 minutes. But you know where I'm coming from on that man. What else is new about Parker against Payton? Parker eats that guy for lunch everytime they face each other. I agree that Payton should've contributed more on the offensive side, and do you wanna know what he has to stop doing? He has to stop doing those horrific looking turnaround jumpshots when he penetrates in the key. He shoots those shots too strong off the rim, and he easily loses confidence when he comes down the floor for another FG opportunity. His advantage is in the low post. That way he can spin to his left and shoot an easy layup that wouldn't be contested. If you ask me, GP is better off passing, because he is clearly a non-factor in this playoffs and I'm getting fed up with his antics.</div> I agree on those shots, he is off balance everytime and they are just horrible, if he could shoot 1 less of those shots everygame...I gaurantee his FG% would go up
It is Shaq's own fault. He was out of shape last postseason and they were eliminated by the Spurs. Was that enough motivation for Shaq to get into shape? Apparently not. Shaq is a selfish and lazy player. If he really wanted to win another title this year, he would have got his fat ass in shape in the off season and came into this season on a mission. The Lakers are not hungry for another title, apparenetly 3 is enough for them.
Well in the beginning of the season he was in better shape and was gonna try to play a full 82 game season for the first time in his career. He got injured and that never happened, or ever will now. Anyways, like the Laker fans have been saying, Shaq should be destroying Rasho. He just turned 32, but his game is sliding down considerbaly now. Still though, it's Rasho.

He CAN be dominant, but he just doesn't seem to have the fire. He just seems to shrug things off. I really can't see how his free-throw shooting is still so horrible. I can't understand how it could be so bad if it's something you want to change. He didn't shoot THIS bad last year (.622 vs .490).

The reason the Lakers lost this game all comes down to the hustle plays. The Spurs were quicker to the loose balls and more efficient on offense. They forced 21 turnovers against the Lakers and killed them on the fast break points. The Lakers blew their lead and momentum on the Kareem Rush turnover, and once again they put themselves in a tough position having to make miracle baskets in the 4th quarter. The Lakers should know better, that the Spurs are unforgiving when you make mistakes, and they aren't going to let you beat them down the stretch.
