Garnett ended seven years of postseason frustration for himself and his team as he scored 28 points to lead the Timberwolves to a 102-91 victory over the Denver Nuggets. The top-seeded Timberwolves closed out the eighth-seeded Nuggets in five games and advanced to the Western Conference semfinals for the first time in franchise history. I'm proud of the TimberWolves and I'm so happy I could .
Actually, I feel more relieved than happy at the moment. But in time this will be a great memory. I went in to this season hoping for a MVP trophy for KG and a first round advancement, and both has become reality (probably).
Oh yeah, I'm relieved too and I'm not even a real big TWolves fan. But I like the big 3 and it would be unbelievable if KG doesn't win MVP.
I am very happy for the Twolves for finally passing the 1st round in their franchise history after 7 years of failure but I would like them to win a championship too. They have everything they need to accomplish that. I think that they weren't just looking to get past the 1st round but to go all the way. I hope they can do that and I hope no more players get injured because we already have Wally and Troy injured right now.
As of yesterday, all I was looking forward to is getting passed the first round, but now I'm looking to get past the second round. I take it a series at a time, no need for me to get ahead of myself now.
Congratulations! This was along time coming.. They shouldda made it past the 1st round last year, but they had to play the mighty Lakers. This year is their year, but they have alot of challenges ahead. Anyways, good luck in the 2nd round..
Finally. I've waited fr 7 years. Actually it's more like 8. I knew we were gonna be something as soon as we drafted the kid. I never knew it would take this long. Now, we gotta get past Sacramento.
I was at the game last night. It was a great time. IT was rediculously loud in the Target Center and everybody was giving high-5's all around and it was just a blast. I was so proud to be a part of the moment. Looking ahead to the second round...Well, the Kings are not easy defeat and we will have to work hard in games and hustle to beat them.
