Artest IMO has shed his reputation as a loose cannon and that is amplified by his DPOY. I think the biggest knock on Ron Artest is that he is a defensive player, which is not the truth. He plays both end of the floor and has a strong offensive game as seen in this playoffs. Ron would be a key piece on the US team for shutting down Euro small fowards. I don't know why he wasn't one of the first selections to go to Athens in the first place.

There was no question that next year they would be back strong. And what best way to do so by bringing in the leagues best players.
