Still miserable after four years ago?? GET OVER IT!!! Very ignorant to even point out it was the refs fault. Go ahead and made foolish excuses. The problem for the Blazers, Kings, and TWolves was that they didn't execute. They didn't do enough to win the ballgame. They didn't play 48 minutes and they couldn't close the game when necessary. It's called choking. Something your Blazers do time after time. Don't allow me to remind you.

KOBE HITS IT WITH ONE SECOND LEFT!!!

Blazers series- game 7, the 4th quarter was filled with bogus calls, go back and watch

Kings series- game 5, i doubt your a real laker fan, but if you are.. do you remember the bogus call when Horry tripped over his own feet and fell out of bounds, and they called a foul on the Kings and he got 2 free throws? (same game where Horry hits the game winning 3 btw)

Wolves series- game 2 i think? the game that went into overtime, and the refs made 4 HORRIBLE calls, the most famous Wally Z running at Kobe's 3 pointer, and they called a foul when he clearly didnt even come CLOSE to touching him. lmao, Wolves still won, but the refs still tried to **** them over (wolves didnt have enough firepower)

but the moral of the story is, the Laker refs show up big in the playoffs, and have won just as many games as ur boy Kobe haha

Dmiles- There were bad calls in those series and unfortunately some affected the outcome of the game. But that is still no excuse. Bad calls are just a part of the game. The losing team will always make excuses but that is all they will ever be, excuses.

its not really excuses, the Refs should call it fair, not majorly in favor of the Lakers every time, its getting old.

we all know David Stern is the real Lakers owner

Didn't the Blazers have a 15 point lead entering the 4th? If you played 12 minutes of Blazer basketball rather than sitting and joking on the bench that year, you wouldn't have to blame the refs now would you?

Quoting DMiles4MVP:

Kings series- game 5, i doubt your a real laker fan, but if you are.. do you remember the bogus call when Horry tripped over his own feet and fell out of bounds, and they called a foul on the Kings and he got 2 free throws? The Kings had the lead if I'm not mistaken before the Horry three that gave the Lakers the win. If Divac and Webber weren't as stupid to toss the ball out to the perimeter, instead of grabbing the rebound, they'd possibly be going to the Finals wouldn't they? It all came down to that one play besides Horry going out of bounds.

If the Wolves still won, why would those "four horrible calls" matter? [IMG]

Well the refs don't wear 3 rings on their fingers now, do they??

Hopefully they can pull off what the Rockets did against Phoenix in 95. Not be down 3-1 though, just find the heart and determination of the champions they once were and still should be. Refering to Shaq and Kobe, while Malone and GP play their hearts out to try and win a ring. Like Magic said, they gotta just play basketball.
