Ray Lewis? Terrell Owens? I hate them both... I think Ray Lewis will be looked back on as a great linebacker when his career's over, but I'm getting sick of people putting him in the Hall of Fame already. Just like I'm sick of hearing people talk about how great Vick is/will be. Let today's great players play and praise them on a game by game or season by season basis. Just ditch the "best ever" and "Hall of Fame" talk already and I'll be happy.

I don't think TO was referring to the past week and his arguements with Lewis. I mean every week all you see is TO vs Moss, TO vs Mariucci, a new thing every week involving TO. He probably shouldn't have brought up his murder trial, but still the focus is always on him. I think he does have a point, but I think the article left most of it out, which frequently happens with TO
TO is the reason TO is always the center of controversy. It is simple if you are a Jackass the media is going to call you on it.
He's a jackass, I know, but I still think the mdia exploits the things he says without telling the other half of the story
To be honest, TO is a bad teammate, Ray Lewis is not.....Why was Ray Lewis nearly charged with double murder? Because he killed anyone? no, because he witnessed it and refused to cooperate with authorities to implicate his friends....a man that is willing to go to jail for his friends is a good teammate, he is willing to put himself on the line to protect you and thats why people in the league like Ray Lewis, because he plays an inspirational style of football that is team oriented....as opposed to Terrell Owens who pushes O-Lineman away after scoring a TD so he can do his solo dance, who complains about his touches even when the team wins....TO is a selfish player, Ray Lewis is not, thats why the league embraces one and shuns the other....
I'll give you Philly fans this one point...the media chooses their "bad guys" and their "good guys" and it takes something very big to reverse their opinion. Just look at Kobe Bryant...he was a media darling until the rape case, now he's a bad teammate and a selfish player in the eyes of the media. But, Owens is not the only person who gets a bad rap in the media. Moss does as well, Allen Iverson, Latrell Spreewell, and others will never be able to overcome their bad images. But that is not to say that they didn't initially deserve them. They each did stuff that was wrong. I find it funny that all these players are the first to remind us at contract time that "this is a business". Yet they get upset when they make a bad business move and rip down a fan's sign. So with that, I got to say to TO: "Its a business, act like it"
