Although I believe the Lakers will win the NBA Championship this season, I wanted to know who you will be cheering for if they don't make it to the Finals. If the Lakers don't win it, my second choice is the TWolves. I'm a big KG fan, and he's my second favorite current player after Kobe. It would be nice to see him win the MVP and the title in the same season and finally silence his critics. Two teams I absolutely do not want winning the title are the Sac Queens and the Spurs.
Spurs and the Pacers will be most likely to win in my opinion. I didn't think for one second that the Lakers would get that far. The team that I absolutely do not want to win is the LA Lakers.
Wolves or Pacers I hate the Kings/Spurs/Nets/Pistons...Miami would be nice, but there is no way in hell t hey would win...I wouldnt mind seein the Wolves win it.
The Spurs. They have already proven to be the better team in this series and will beat the Kings in the next round for a repeat. Spurs in 5 against Lakers. Spurs in 6 against Kings. Spurs in 5 against Pacers.
What are your reasons for not wanting the Kings or the Spurs to win. Personally I hate the Spurs, but thats because Duncan is the most boring player to watch. But they do play good ball. I hate webber, but there are alot of players on the Kings who are deserving of at least a long drive into the playoffs. I thing Doug Christie is one of the most underrated players in the assosiation.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">I should have made it open to <u>Laker fans only</u>. Too many of you Laker Haters out there. </div> Haha, of course, but what about: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Sac Queens</div> If I had to pick a team to win it all, I'd go with the Spurs. They have Tim Duncan to lead the way, and his supporting cast can push them over the edge. Riding a 16 game winning streak tends to help as well.
If the Lakers don't make it, I would like to see the Wolves win the championship. Any other team other than the Spurs. I just don't like them, mostly because of Tim Duncan.
I'd go with the TWolves. I like Kevin Garnett's intensity for each and every TWolves game. And he has excellent work ethic. Plus he's the MVP, and he's really stepped his game to a new level. If the Lakers don't win it all, then definitely Minnesota.

I respect the Spurs and they are a classy team, but the only player I enjoy watching from them is Gino. If the NBA got rid of the zone defense, the Spurs might be a better team watch, but until then I can't stand their style. There are many reasons why I don't want the Queens to win, but here are my top three. 1. They are the current Laker rivals 2. I never want to see Webber win a championship 3. The way the Kings cried about losing to the Lakers, and blaming their loss on the refs and not themselves for missing countless free throws, made me lose a lot of respect for them. They even went on Jay Leno show (based in Los Angeles) and cried about it. Classless! I agree Christie is an underrated player, especially on offense. He's made some of the best passes off the dribble I've seen in a long time. Shard, when you are in the Laker Forum the team from Sacramento is referred to as the Queens.
Either that spurs (even tho i hate to say it) or the Pacers will take it home. Mayb the Pistons Big mayb tho.
People like to say they hate the Spurs because they are boring but the real reason they hate them is the same reason why people have hated the Lakers, they are damn good. How is this team boring? They have one of the quickest point guards in the league who gets to the basket and finishes whenever he wants. They have a 2 time MVP in Tim Duncan who is amazing to watch. They have Manu who is also lightening quick and does everything for this team. If you ask me, the Lakers are boring to watch.
I'd like to see the T-Wolves go all the way just because they are exciting to watch for me. I'm a Christie fan because he went to a Seattle high school but other than that I dont really like the Queens.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">If you ask me, the Lakers are boring to watch.</div> Point in case, you hate the Lakers and like the Spurs (not sure when you and AllNet started taking that path), so we're not asking you

^I was introduced to basketball when a family friend took me to a Lakers-Bucks game in '95. Kind of a nostalgia thing with me. Same reason the only football team I like to this day is the Niners even though they've been dead mediocre for a damn long time. So the question comes back to you Mr. Rud
I was hoping that to many ppl's didn't post, because I had knew that most Laker fans would go with TWolves and that's who I'm going with too. But realisticly if the Lakers don't win, it's automatic that the Spurs will repeat. Like I've said before, they don't have Robinson anymore and I'm not looking foward to seeing Rasho. I respect the Spurs too, but you really have to a Spurs fan or just basically be a head coach to wanna watch the Spurs in the finals again. I really only like watching Manu too.
First of all, I'd like to say that the Spurs are the most boringest team to ever ever ever watch on TV. I'd rather watch ten Clippers games in a row before choosing to watch a Spurs game on my own time. I would like the Heat to win (Even though I there is no possible way for them to even make the finals). That would be nice to see an underdog team in the finals. It would be nice for a team from the east to win a championship again. East teams never won a championship since the Bulls when they had Jordan and Pippen and Rodman and the rest of that team.
