Yeah, Dr. J didn't fire TMac up, so I doubt he can do it for Vince. Vince is a guy who is going downhill in his career and would probably be better as a second string guy to another superstar.
no...he's not superstar material but he's definately not second-string a player averaging 22pts,5reb,5ast is definately not second string, he just needs another scorer on his team to take some of the heat off
He has that right now. I don't mean that he's second tier, but look at Sam Cassell. He's 2nd team all-NBA, but he's definitely not the leader of his team. Vince would have a much better chance playing second fiddle to someone like Yao or Garnett or JO of winning a title than if he was leading a team. This isn't nearly the same Vince from 2000-01.
yeah ok, then i agree with you...i mis-interpreted your second-string comment, i would also put him into the (upper-half) of the second-tier type players in the league he definatley needs someone to complement him if the Raps want to be successful
i think jalen compliments vince really well. jalen's play in the latter parts of the season was exactly what vince needed. once jalen came back from the injury, his play was exactly what the raps needed, and his attitude about winning and his attitude on the floor is exactly what vince needs. give bosh another year or two, and he'll be the quality big man that can go along with vince.

I mean, even if Bosh is a 20-10 big man, is the combination of him, VC, and the aged Donyell Marshall and Jalen Rose gonna do much? They'll probably make the playoffs, but beyond that I can't say. They need to dish either Rose or Marshall to get either a solid center or a really good point guard.
I've heard on NBA tv and many other source's that the raptors cannot do anything in the offseason with there cap room unless the trade Jalen OR Vince. Vince isnt that likely to go unless they're offered someone real real good like Jason Kidd but that isnt happening. Dr.J would be awesome for the raptors, i would once again be a raptors fan.
Well, this could be either good or bad. Alot of great things could go down in Toronto with Dr. J working things, or he may be a horrible GM, we will have to wait and see, if he takes the job.
vince wont be second fidile he is one of the only players at toronto that playing well. someone that averages 22 pts is a good player vince just needs another player to stand up and help him out
okay guys, newsflash!!! vince is not going to get the raptors to the finals. so the raptors need to consider rebuilding and the good thing about the nba is that u can rebuild really quick. plus, cb4 might be a superstar in 2 years so the raptors future doesn't look that bleak. if they draft well and add a cornerstone for the franchise in the draft the raptors look in good shape. for all the criticism directed at mlse i really believe the raptors underachieved under kevin o'neill.
The Raptors need Dr. J to suit up and play for them if they are gonna be a good team again, otherwise, they need to pick up a decent center in the draft to at least make the playoffs in the east
