Terry Stotts and Tim Floyd have both just been fired by Altlanta and New Orleans. any thoughts on those coaches possibly coming to Toronto?

o and btw, Mike Fratello is a name that comes to mind. nobody has mentioned anything about him though.....maybe hes just too expensive for toronto or he doesnt want to come. what do u guys think?

Anyone who hopes to coach (or GM) of this team needs to practise the following lines:

    "Yes, sir!"
    "That's a good idea, sir!"
"Ha ha ha sir, you're quite the comedian."
"The players would love to have you come in right now, Mr. Peddie, sir."
"I love the way your ass tastes, Mr. Peddie."

Mike Fratello is a scary coach, no I wouldn't like either Tim Floyd or Stotts.

The Raptors should go after Byron Scott he was fired by the NJ Nets earlier this season. Byron Scott would be great he took the Nets to the Eastern Conference Finals two years in a row, but the GM in NJ said the record so far wasnt good enough and fired him. I say the Raptors should go for Scott as there coach and Dr.J as there GM.

Yeah why wouldnt the Raptors want to go after Byron Scott?Because the Nets had a bad not even half of a season. If your team reaches the finals two years in a row the coach has to be worth something.

Or he just had Jason Kidd? Yea I'm not that high on Scott but I wouldn't be sad if we got him or anything. I still think we should get Dr J as an assistant GM just so we can have him there.
Mike Fratello is scary in a bad way, I heard is like a Kevin O'neil type coach, not that bad but hard guy. He probably has offensive sets though not just Isolation Rose or Carter.

    Scott?

No way would I take Scott. How soon do people forget what he did in New Jeru. He was terrible at utlizing the bench, and managing minutes. We don't want to go through another year of a 6-7 man rotation again, do we?

I have no idea what coach we can get that'll work at this point, but what I hope for is someone who is compatible with the GM and is pleased to work with Vince and Bosh.

maybe as an assistant but as a head coach he would be too much. just doesnt have the experience yet. he should start off as anassistant and then move up.

well at this point, in my opinion Byron Scott will have to be the best option for Toronto, He is also a pretty nice guy. I wouldn't mind getting him as the head coach.

i personally want fratello. hes a well respected coach that could help the raps. he might be hardnosed and yelling a lot but he will get the respect of the players nevertheless...

    another thought...what about Doug Collins?

I don't want him, Doug is awful just like Kevin O'neill on player rotations, he barely played his young players in Washinton despite the talent.

I'm still dreaming that someday Butch Carter will take over the GM or coaching spot [IMG].

u want butch back??? he was the one that basically got himself out of toronto.

i think hes a good coach but he just says too many negative things and makes too many comments that makes him a distraction for the team.

I already mentioned Avery Johnson, we can get his as an assistant, the PG coach, teach Gordon or Harris or whoever we get.
